08-18 front wheel bearing replacement
I don’t understand why in all the hub videos I have seen that nobody used anti seize when re assembling the hub.
I have made the job easier by removing a wheel stud from the hub and then using a longer bolt to use as a puller with a nut behind the hub. No hammering. Good video
Hummer H3 3.7, transfer case, no issues!
Imma, I'm getting motion sickness... 😵💫
Way to leave out the part where you need to remove axle nut
Would be an even better video if you would mention the size of wrenches or whatever tools used
Just did this to an 09 SE. Yes, an 09 6th Gen. Lose the power tools. You gotta have impact rated sockets plus a place for the air head or motor to fit. All you need is elbow grease and the right hand tools. I've worked on semi's before, that's where you *might* need an impact. This is a car. You don't eat Wheaties with a backhoe, you don't take power tools to a passenger car, either. BTW. I'm disabled and *still* did this by hand in an hour.
Where I can get the bushing?
How do I contact you?

I’ll be making more videos coming soon!!
Big help. Thanks for this!
Glad it helped!
What kind of flash light is that y'all are using?
Snap on !!! Only the best !!
I love these videos when the make it look so easy removing the bearing when most of the time you have to use serious firepower to get these coroded bearings out.
Couple taps with a sledge and mine was off.
I have a 2001 Ford Taurus limite that may need to be replaced. It's making a woobling noise like the wheel is out of balance but I had all my wheels balanced and rotated and new strut assemblies put on with alignment.
@wrench_life Beast do you need to grease the axle shaft assy when you slide the new bearing assy on i assume?
Yes I would recommend you do that .. definitely a must up here in the rust belt area
You are damaging the metal bro...good job.😃
What is the size of the axle nut for Ford Taurus 2013
32mm
Is this 32mm size socket the same for a 2010 Ford Taurus limited? Thank you.
Is it the same for an 09 Lincoln mks all wheel drive? Alldata is telling me i need to remove the entire knuckle? Cant see why i would have to?
Did you find anything on the mks 2009? I have one and need to see if things are the same?
@@lukecarter7701 Yeah ive done a couple since then...No need to remove the knuckle...just take the caliper and rotor off and take the 4 bolts to the wheel bearing out..The hardest part is beating the bearing out...Because the knuckle is aluminum and the bearing is metal they are practically welded together
What were the symptoms of a bad bearing on that car?
Joon kinloch a loud howling humming noise and would get louder as you build up speed .. also if you jack it up and spin the tire you might feel slight vibration on the strut spring and that is another sigh that it’s going bad
Wrench_life Beast thank you so much!
Joon kinloch your welcome I’ll be putting more videos soon !!
A hub puller with slide hammer would have made that much easier
Sometimes that doesn't even work
Good job thank you for your video. Can you get at the bolts in back with out turning wheel?
Dan Miller yes you can but it’s easier if you turn the wheel .. but if you can’t you can make it work 😊
Where is disc break cover 😂😂😂
How much would you charge for that job.
Gerald Gresham about $75 dollars for the labor cost
Got told 240 today lol
