Balkans 1/6: Belgrade, Serbia
I am in Europe on an epic tour of four Balkans countries: Serbia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo (note). The Balkan region was ruled by the Byzantine Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and communism in different eras of history. There are different races, religions and cultures across the Balkans, which will definitely fascinate any history-loving travelers. But at the same time, the racial and religious conflicts also turned the Balkans into the powder keg of Europe.
(Note: Serbia considers Kosovo part of its territory. Today roughly half of countries in the world recognize Kosovo as a country, the other half don't.)
My first stop is Belgrade, the capital of today's Serbia and the communist Yugoslavia that collapsed in the 1990s. It's both a modern metropolis and an ancient city built over 2000 years ago. I very much look forward to learning the history and experiencing the city. Located at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, Belgrade also offers beautiful sceneries.

Sukhbaatar wasn't leader of revolution rather elites and Bogd Khan but Russians and commintern party killed all of them creating false accusations cuz they weren't loyal to their agenda but root commonwealth of Mongolians, basically Sukhbaatar is clown, puppet of commintern, chosen for false propaganda and rewriting of Mongolian history to brainwash us.

Hi Lonely Uncle - I wonder what your experience is staying at the ger. Was it very cold at night? Were there bugs in the room? Was there hot water for shower?
Honestly the night wasn't cold at all. I had to have the fire put out as it got too warm in the ger. There were quite a few flies trapped in the ger. The mosquito net helped. The buzzes were noisy for a short while but otherwise the flies were harmless.
If you are curious, this video was shot on Mekong River between Luang Prabang and Huay Xai in Laos.

@NicoleTangy I couldn't find them on booking.com or tripadvisor, so I searched for them on Google Maps and contacted them one by one.
