There is plenty of room for both. Original Samba and recently made Samba out of 1975 or older VW busses from Brasil. SO people in Brasil modify a Samba hard top to a 23 window . SO what ? Remember the ford Cobra ? Todays value for an original Cobra can fetch over a million dollars. 3% or less than the public could ever afford that. So today thanks to molds and custom frames that make a new style Cobra run better and faster than the orginal ones. So all of a sudden that makes the car available to maybe 45 % of the population. People can enjoy the car for a tenth of the price of an original Cobra. Its not a fake its a new style modified car that runs better and faster than an original one. So geting back to the Samba it is actually a VW bus all steel at the start and then it is modified with additional windows making it a 23 window. Its not a sin. More paople can today afford the modified 1975 VW bus. Most people really don't care its not an original because they paid half the price or less than an original one. I get your shop, you have all original vehicles there and that is awesome. However for example your square back is not worth dumping 25 or 30 grand in it because you will never get it back. However if you had ten brasilian modified sambas you could sell them all day long for about 60 thousand or even more. Remmber the American word " if there is a market for modified sambas people will buy" and they do and the market is extreemly strong. Make it a great day. It would also be real nice if you tidy up your shop a bit you would get more business. God bless good luck . California Jack

The Ford Panther sedans and wagons were pretty well designed and very reliable from 1979-1991.

Really nice car. One of my favorites of all time. These large sedans and wagons were meant to be driven gently. When large and taller SUVs started coming out in the early '90s, drivers started to get more aggressive and basically the a$$hole driver generation began. These rode so well and did not block the view of every vehicle behind it.
