For Joe Moore
Переглядів 138 місяців тому
Just back from the Bahamas, sitting here in my ManCave thinking about the loss of my friend and fellow bandmate, Joe Moore. He was one hell of a saxophone player and singer, but he was more than that. He was a lovely human being. Vermont lost one of its best guys. Toot Toot my friend.
Less can be More

Sometimes it’s not so much the notes you play but the notes you don’t play. Leaving space between notes creates tension. It forces the listener to use their imagination as to what comes next. Think of it as speaking at Town Meeting. No one listens to the person who talks and talks on every issue, but they sure do listen to the person who rarely speaks. Less is more. Less is More - playing with minimal airflow
Переглядів 10011 місяців тому
What I hope to get across is that if you want your harps to last longer, play softer. That does not mean that you have to sacrifice tone and/or technique. It means that if you can play with minimal airflow you can control the notes better and when you need to rip it, you have a large reserve. Plus, your harps will last for years vs weeks.

sounds gd
What i was supposed to have a Day off😮😮😮❤❤❤
lol, funny! " Jack Wilson".. how american..
I learned from some of the greatest harp players alive that it’s as much about the space in between the notes as it is the notes.
Really like your tone that you take your time. Was it an A flat harp playing in Eflat?
Hi and thanks for your kind words. I do believe it was an Ab harp and yes I would be playing in Eb
Great Stuff. First class musician !!!
Thanks very much Buddy
Great jam! What harmonica is this and why is it special? I'm only familiar with 10 hole diatonic.
I love the 12 hole marine bands. I have the rare keys that hohner doesn't make anymore.
Rico McFarland on guitar, Mark Mack on drums and Charles Mack (artist name is Cros) on bass, the James Cotton Band. Mark did a great job with James Cotton's band. :)
Wow!
Killer!
Yeah man, I can so relate
Thanks a lot, man...
Thank you Buddy. Much appreciated.
Tips from a world class harp musician !!! Thank you !!!
That how most of us think of Mark Hummel. LOL
That is an Alien Harp monster in a human trenchcoat sent to earth to conquer us all ,,,, LOL
