Adventure bike tour around Tasmania! In 12 days
We set off for a two week loop around Tasmania, starting from Kadina, South Australia.
We had a lose plan to start west on Tasmania and head down and around to Hobart and back up the east coast.
Weather was pretty good to us the whole time, only a couple rain days and a couple warm days.
We traveled in February 10th-23rd 2024

Getting the jump line started!

We built up the dirt jump line, and added a trick ramp. Forgot to film a buildlapse got caught up in riding and doing our first proper session.

Part three of our trail build, we build our first whale tale. The first attempt didn't go as planned, so we had to adjust it to make the transition smoother. Inspired by Matt Jones, Sam Reynold and their back yard trail/PUMP TRACK builds we have tried to build some similar features as their insane Dirt Jumps. We are both using our new 26" dirt jump bike, instead of the BMX and Mountain Bike.

Part TWO of our back yard trail/Pump track we extend the pump line even further, by adding some cool new features. Cleaning up the berm so we can blast it harder and hit the new section with more speed. Starting with the double roller which then leads into the small dirt jump. Building our first pump track and bmx trail line. Built for mountain bikes in our backyard. Thought we should share some of our progress, sorry about the wind and the phone edits haha. this is our first ever edit.
Great ride, I did live in Tas for a while and in a few days my friends and I will doing our own Tassi. ride.

Hi Luke. Really enjoyed watching your ride. Thanks for posting the roads and routes you took. Going down to Tassie in October and hope to cover a similar route to yours. I’m sure I can piece your ride together from the maps shown in the video. Just wondering if you may have gpx files you could share? Anyway, looks like you had a great time. Regards Craig
Hey mate, thanks for watching. We don’t have any gpx. To be honest it was just filmed on an iPhone and I whacked this together. Not big tech guys haha. I might be able to go back through and see the locations on certain videos. But most of the roads that were worth noting we put in the video. Thanks again.

Great Video, Tasmania is the place to be for sure. Cannot wait to go back down myself and do another trip next year ...

Yeah I preferred the west side for sure, crazy landscapes everywhere, heaps of free camping as well.
@@lukeslatts2626 west is best mate its our play ground do a bunch of hard quad bike exploring for gold too down there but the road stuff second to none ride safe mate cheers
