This game is insnane. Just shipped the last space elevator part and immediately restarted with Mods. Wait till you explore mods. The amount of design possibility’s 10x

I had bought the game when it was still in early access, but hadn’t gotten around to trying it out until about 3 weeks ago when I remembered it again. I downloaded it, and saw it finally had reached 1.0…and I’ve now sunk 186 hours into the game. It’s become something of an addiction, but it’s SO rewarding to solve a problem, even if it’s not exactly the right way to do it. You mentioning the dopamine hits is exactly true, even for milestones that aren’t truly set out by the game like expanding power generation or finding a ton of Power Slugs. The game is just incredibly satisfying…choice words.

2100 hours of my life stolen by this game since early access launch and i do not mind one bit 😅

I love that you used the example of initially wanting to do belt math perfectly, and then realizing a manifold works just as well. Because the next stage is realizing that a manifold does not feed each connected machine at the same rate, and then going back to do a different kind of belt math to figure if a manifold or if perfectly balanced inputs are necessary, before getting frustrated and trying to do perfect belt math on everything, but for finally getting good at the belt, math and using each one where appropriate

Only game I've wanted to play for the past month. I'm obsessed! Once I've beaten it I really want to give Factorio another go, it never pulled me in like Satisfactory did though I attempted a few times because it always seemed like something I should love.

Satisfactory is amazing and definitely my favorite, but it got me to try and finish Factorio as well and it was great too. Satisfactory is still my favorite factory game but it was inspired by factorio for a reason 😄

I totally agree. And i love the styling of your factory! I have to start working on the beauty side cause right now im 99% focused on efficiency and getting done those phases but i love the way this game looks and im always struggling with thinking about how this is going to look when im done. But i need to start working on this. That looks crazy good but still simple!

You hit the nail on the head. I have loved playing Minecraft in the past, but I was never able to fully unleash my creativity because of the constraints of grid-based building. In defense of load balancers (vs manifolds), you can actually make them pretty compact (hint: feel free to place almost all of the splitters each immediately adjacent to a machine's intake, *and* consider that you can *still* rotate them 90° in this position in order to pull from the output of a previous splitter in the same line. You can supply groups of 3 or 4 machines in this way in the exact same amount of space as a manifold. I like to work with multiple machines by the dozen-in general, numbers with only 2 or 3 as their prime factors.) Also, load balancers are the more suitable option for certain styles of gameplay, like overbuilding-allowing you to be *more* efficient than people who carefully balance everything but who don't take into account burst usage and production interruptions.

Factually wrong I have 1,000 hours in Satisfactory And already know it's perfect And it's for the same reasons I loved minecraft since 1.3 Good video by the way!
