Hi, We - Leroy, Desi and our (always hangry) pug - are team Foedsie (ENG We Wander Why). A couple of years ago we started our travel blog so we can share travel en food tips with others.

Discover Piaynemo: The Most Beautiful Island of Raja Ampat
When people think of Raja Ampat, they picture breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters. In this video, I show you Piaynemo. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots in Raja Ampat. Piaynemo Islands is the iconic image everyone has of Raja Ampat: stunning limestone formations in the clearest water you've ever seen. It's about a 2-hour trip from the popular islands of Gam and Kri. Once at Piaynemo , it's a short climb to the viewpoint.
Pianemo is a must-visit in Raja Ampat. It's near the Fam Islands and is great to combine with a few nights in the area. You can arrange a local boat from Wasai or other islands. It costs around 150 - 300 euros per boat. The more people, the cheaper it gets. The viewpoint is easily accessible via a path. Even though it's a well-known spot, you usually have the view to yourself.

My personal opinion is that it is a mistake to permit commercial luxury resorts to be built within the boundaries of marine reserves. That was done in the Great Barrier Reef years ago and now sections of it are damaged as a result.
