I took of the 10mm but the top part of the air filter doesn’t come off as easily in the video
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
My hero amigo
Good video. A lady down the street was throwing away a Weber Genesis S330 and I picked it up. I did almost everything you did. I have one question. My Weber has stains on the two doors that I can not get off. I think it's Stain Paint. Did you sand the side tables, I can't tell in the video. I might want to sand these doors but don't want to ruin it more. Any recommendations?
I have the spirit classic mark1 with controller on the side. I got it from a friend and it really needs a totally restoration. Problem with it is the rosy especially the screws. Everything inside is non useful so it will be fun to do a restoration like yours 😀. Great video, more of that is great and link the product you used so we can find it online. Have a good one 👍👍👍
Hey man great video. Just being honest I wouldn’t of painted it either. It looks good though. Got one just like that at a yard sale for 25$. Only one question? Did you use steel wool? What number?
😮💪🏾💪🏾
Wtf music?
Nothing cooks like a Weber, just restored a Genesis Silver B, amazing little Grill!
That’s a lot of elbow grease! Wow. Great job! 13:12
Thanks,is very helpful
Amazing video! Showing what some elbo grease and patience one can save Mega Bucks. These grills are built to last. Great inspirational job!
Very helpful!! Thank you so much
Just finished a reno of our Weber E-210 Spirit II grill with new burner tubes, heat deflector, grids, and flavorizer bars. It looks good and is back to full function with plenty of blue flame on each section. But this job makes ours look amateur in comparison. Wonderful work (except painting the interior box... YIKES!)
Garbage
Hi there, I have done several weber restorations including replacing parts. I picked up a Spirit e 310. I need to replace the decals for the knobs and Spirit logo on the control panel. Any suggestions will be appreciated. thanks in advance Richard
Have you found out where to replace those decals on the nobs I just picked up a spirit myself
use a lug nut finger tight to hold rotor on while putting it back together!
That was a waste of my time. You didnt at all explain exactly how the bulb went back in, which is what the title said. Boooo. Search sent me a big DUD this time.
I got no problem with the speeded-up video, but if you’d stopped occasionally and described what you’re doing and the products & tools you’re using, it would have been helpful.
Nice painting it in silver/gray! I was about to paint mine in black but now im going for silver/gray!!
Great video! I just picked up a E210 on the side of the road! Can't wait to restore it!
wow
U didn't show u full video bro,, how u take the lights out.. Bye, let me go watch other videos...
Shocking excellent job 😊
Thanx for video !! I just restored my 10 year old weber spirit for 50 bucks . New its 500 or more now . Im stoked now .
Who would ever eat a meal off of these disgusting ghetto grills
Looks amazing great job!!
Oh no the food will be a carcinogen with that paint! Please remove before grilling
And you are supposed to hit the rotor..it won't break it or do any damage, your replacing it anyways right
The red thing he was using,is called a ratchet wrench.for those who are curious.
"Use this one,17 inch" lmao..u mean 17mm bro
Nice job on this. I have the same exact grill and just wanted to clean it up a bit and replace the burner tubes for the season. Now you've inspired me to do a full deep clean on it.
After you've completed your job it's important to go out and use them that means stand on them hard the brakes that is you should be able to smell when they're seated
Great job! I agree with comments not to paint inside grill...It's gonna turn black anyways...
Amazing job man looks brand new, just remove the paint from the inside and your good 👍🏼
Just picked one up for cheap…they go for almost $500 new! I will probably have to replace the base because it’s pretty rusty. Nice job
Voy aser un video y te voy a enseñar como se canvian los frenos eres una persona muy susia para trabajar eso sease con amor 💖 ❤ veo que no te gusta lo que estas asiendo
Finding the bulb is the easy part....replacing it, well that will make you cuss!!!! You should have done a video of you replacing the bulb.
What about for the passenger side?
I have a feeling I’m gonna watch this numerous times before I start my own restoration. Thank you for the tips.
might be a stupid question but its safe to paint the bottom of the inside of the grill with the bbq spray paint?
Great job, Eugenio! You inspired me to clean up my grill. I have the exact same model. I was in the process of looking for the replacement burner tubes and stumbled onto your video. Very nice of job of putting that grill back in service.
I just started doing grills myself awesome man congrats I like to see all grills have a wonderful come back
Nicely done! Just never, EVER, paint the inside of the cook box, as you don't want to consume chemicals. Now I have a new project: cleaning/restoring my Spirit E-320. :) Thank you for the time you put into making this video.
Gracias por su video
If I use a hammer to loosen a rotor I put the lugs nuts back on in case the hammer slips and hits the lug screws.I’d rather be buying new lug nuts than having to replace the lug screws.
What would you recommend for any rust on the base....
I have the same issue with my Spirit E-320. Rust is starting to bubble up the paint a bit. It's not that bad yet, but the rust-through WILL come at some point. I know Weber sells every part for every grill, so I'll probably wind up replacing the base at some point.
I had one of these but with three burners. It lasted five years until rust ate the entire stand and I had to recycle it.
Got a 10 year old genesis. Finally had to replace the burner tubes. Third set of grates and flavorizer bars. Like new again.
What did you use for cleaning?
Indeed. A tool list and cleaning supply list used (listed in the description) would be ideal.
