This analysis fails to take into account the limits on the QB that a leaky offensive line (especially the left side) places on a QB dropping back to pass. You switch out for Angeli and you are going to see much bigger problems, including an increased # of sacks. Leonard obviously isn’t comfortable throwing to his left because of the line and his mobility is an expedient remedy to a bad offensive line. IOW, some of Leonard’s issues stem from a weak OL that is not conducive to long downfield throws.

I'm really shocked ND is now the top ranked team. Winning out against this schedule should solidify yet another championship run. There's nothing wrong with beating community colleges - "See? They're in a conference!!"

Notre Dame has not been relevant since 1993. 2012 intel they got wiped by Alabama. They have not had a true QB since Brady Quinn and had a true alt standing offence since 2005-2006. Kelly did what he could but he could never beat realy good teams. over the last 14 years the schedule is getting very watery down. Brian Kelly had it easy just like the coach now. The university got rid of grass for turf so they can make money for concerts. When Lou won he had Notre Dame rocking from 88-93 the university did not like that football was more popular than education and in 90 they got strict on acadimics. Longs the school is making money they don't car about W and L. I am a big ND fan and I see the writing on the wall. Lou is the last great Notre Dame Coach how love and cared about ND. Brian Kelly did not it was a stepping stone for him. He got rid of player morning mass before the football games. At leas Freeman got it back, He understands ND tradition. How ever is the next coach better understand tradition and can coach and bring a explosive offense and knows how to recruit🏈

This is a game that you need to get guys reps without getting anyone hurt. The defense is going to win this game for them so the offense needs to find its groove and see what they have on the outsides and hope the O-line continues to gel.

This is a test game as well for these young men. Every team you play should be treated as the best team you will ever play. Freeman needs to find the motivational factor to bring the fire out in these young men again Saturday.

Been a fan of the show since the OSU loss. Like JR implied Landen is way too emotional to have a Parker conversation. 9-3 is not nearly good enough, but to say Parker is “not very good” is overly emotional, with that being said Keep it up guys. Love listening

Notre dame did a horrible job of utilizing the wide receivers. More focus was put on the running back room who were all showcased at some point of the season. So do you bring in a bunch of portal guys and disrespect the receivers who hung around? Freeman should bring in no more than two receivers from the portal that way you can still utilize the entire receiving core the way you did the running backs.

Who cares let them all go. We’re not going anywhere and Alabama is back in the playoffs I’m sick to my stomach. I only hope and pray that Michigan destroys Alabama because I don’t want them to have any chance at another title. Meanwhile back at ND it’s been a mere 35 years. I’ve given up on college football.
