Hello, what camera do you have? I'm making one and I would like to get into those seconds. I'm from Venezuela. Regards
Hi just wondering if you made any other runs that day? Did the car run consitent times
I drove it there and did 3 passes. 1st 14.1 2nd 13.8 3rd 13.6 And drove it home.
How goes the modding? Can't wait to do this with mine 😍
Good job , I bought a cheap food trailer for my wife , 80 % solid except for an area of the floor that will need replacement , I will be changing almost everything inside except for the hood , fridge/ freezer combo the rest it’s going to go . We will be selling real Mexican burritos , tacos , pupusas , y tamales , keep it simple , and profitable with fresh ingredients , delicious food , large portions , fast , and courteous service . Most people told us you need $40 k to start with a food trailer business , we are doing under $15 grand this is the goal . Saludos desde Massachusetts.
how much do i need to build something like this? 50-60k ?
Sorry for such a delayed replied. We spent roughly 15k including the truck. We did all the labor.
You should alway pipe the And run wiring through the pipe later you always want to be able to have access to the wiring and running the wire after most of the infrastructure is in through piping sure you it’s not damaged
Explain please
Very nice I’m in the proses to build one your equipment is wath I have in mind
That's what I ran on my 08 Stock TBSS as well at Island Race Track in NJ.
Hi just wondering if you made any other runs that day? Did the car run consitent times
What make and model is this truck?
Hi what size aluminum tubing did you use ?
what type of board did you use for the walls?
👍👍👍👍👍
did cutting down the interior wheel wells give any trouble? I also have High wheel wells i would like to cut down for my build but am worried about the weight in the truck causing problems????
Where did you get your materials. This is beautiful
Awesome job
Hello bud can you guide me on cutting down that fender from inside to lower it down like you did
I'd caution against doing that and modifying the "vehicle/chassis". In the event of a suspension leaf spring cracking and failing due to the constant heavy weight near GVW ratings, the tires can protrude into the shortened wheel well housing hitting into it possibly causing and accident but definitely damaging the lowered wheel well and food service equipment above it
What state are you in do you take jobs?
Good Job on your food truck. If you get the chance, check out our FOOD TRUCK BUILD. THE SEAMSTER
Sea master it’s a good channel , the guy it’s so good building almost anything from scratch , highly recommended , also watch Fran Beltierrez food truck build up , he is awesome , best of all he shares all his secrets about equipment that meet code . Saludos de Massachusetts , Salvadoreños presentes .
I want to build my own food truck too but don’t know exactly what I need, can you please help
Can you give a list of products used
Let us know products you used for the sink stove and stuff
Holy fuck. What a build. I wish
What is the brand and name of this car, please help ?
What is the brand and name of this car, please help .
Can I get one done from you guys awesome work need ASAP please and thanks
Awesome, that's what we are currently doing in our back yard!!!!! So, it has been a year, how is it going?!?!?!
Definitely a clean build using quality components. It's amazing how many hacked together 'food trucks' you can find on Ebay or Craigslist. From wood framing supporting the counters/sinks(a big no-no) to cheap Walmart coolers set up for food storage, with asking prices that are completely ridiculous. I do have a question and a remark though. First, why did you close off the cab from the rear section? I would think the truck would get knocked down at inspection for only having a single exit(the rear) in the event of a fire. Second, as a mechanic, I would be worried about lack of airflow to the radiator due to the very large generator box blocking the grill. For short local trips it likely wont be an issue, but cruising the highway heading to an event(a food truck festival for example) it certainly may. Lastly, good luck on your endeavor. When I get back to Jersey I'll look you up to try some of your wares.
Why would you think the truck would likely get knocked down at inspection for only having a single exit? Where do you come up with these ideas?? Why would you need 2 exits? Inspectors don't care about a fire or that stuff. They have an exit, it's all they need. Maybe you'll want a men's and women's bathroom too?? They don't need these things, I don't know where you get these ideas from lol. And as far as the truck engines radiator cooling system, if you're a mechanic you should know that as long as the factory designed cooling fan draws enough airflow at idle driving in town and it doesn't overheat, then it shouldn't overheat at highway speeds either. If the airflow across the radiator is restricted then it's restricted. That means if it doesn't cool it doesn't cool. Conversely if it DOES cool at idle speeds then it will most certainly cool at highway speeds, because every mechanic knows the most critical time for a cooling system is when the engine is at idle and relying on the factory designed cooling fan to do its job. And if it does its job at idle with a large generator box in front, then it will certainly do it's job at highway speeds. It simply cannot NOT do its job at highway speeds if it's working at idle. I'm also a mechanic and fellow food truck owner. Good job guys!
What program did you use to draw it out?
Rhd Jerry, excellent work man; great job. I have a few questions and was wondering if there is a way we can communicate. I appreciate any information you can provide. Starting with the prints, and some of the material used. I saw in some comments that you will be posting more videos but I couldn't find any of those videos. My email address is kassey.hadi@gmail.com if you can drop a line so I can connect with you that will be awesome and thanks for your time.
Enjoyed it thoroughly
Do you still have the blueprints available?
How can i contact you?
you should have put the price of what things costed when you put in
Tutorial ?
Great job!! I'm trying to build a small trailer but I have lots of question about the electric system. How can I keep the equipment on when on the road, do I leave the generator on? Do I need a converter and batteries? Any advise will be really apreciated.
Magic! You keep it on by magic! I don't think you should be in the mobile food truck business if you're seriously asking that question... Smh
And you're building a trailer... Dear God.
Call a professional, please. They'll build it and they'll explain it to you. When you get to the Food Code part of it, God help you lol actually God help the public for safe food handling practices. Take some courses man.. that's the best I can tell you. And some people just shouldn't do certain jobs. I always wanted to be a rocket scientist, but I know my limits. I drive a food truck and comment on UA-cam.. that's me. 🤔
Seriously awesome
Where did you put the generator, Id totally missed that?
In the box he mounted in front of the grille.
I know how you can find out where he put the generator if you missed that part.. WATCH the video AGAIN. Omg really??? You really asking that?? Omg smh
Omg and some moron actually commented and told you where he put it!! Omg
What software you used to design
Good day sir! What thickness of stainless did you get for the walls? I am in the process of doing mine and I'm quite having a hard time looking where to buy my materials. Can I also have a copy of the blueprint? Thank you.
what did you use to do the blue prints and is that all you have to do to start building one
You can build anything you want but the blueprint is to get your food/restaurant license. So you need to understand the whole picture. There's a lot to be done to become licensed and approved.
You can but a truck already built. You'd then need to draft up a floor plan of the truck and submit it for approval with your application to your states Food/Restaurant licensing department just like if you opened up a physical restaurant building. So along with that prepare to become a restaurant operator complying with all the food safety and manager courses required just as if you're running a fixed location physical restaurant building. After all, u will be a restaurant, it's just in a mobile truck. So if you think you're just going to buy or build a truck and sell food, you're wrong. You're getting into the restaurant business my friend. Just instead of a building, you have a truck. But the same regulations apply... And then some lol
What software Was you using
How do you generate electricity for your machines? Any specific generator that you suggest?
It's the hamsters in the wheel. They generate the electricity! No really, he might've looked into hydroelectric power generation but then he'd need to be parked near a flowing river so that's out. Next he probably thought about wind powered generation but the height needed for the large wind turbine would exceed the Dept of Transportation's allowance for the 50 foot high tower. One might consider Solar powered electric generation but it's very costly and not enough surface area on the roof of the truck not to mention no power can be generated at night. Now I don't know for sure without asking him but by the process of elimination in going to guess what he uses a generator for his electric power generation. I mean he could be using thousands of dollars in batteries too but my guess and it's only a hunch, is that he uses a GENERATOR! Omg smh.
Now the specific generator I would suggest, is one big enough for your machines. Kinda simple
Do you read your questions that you ask? Or do you just blindly blurt out questions and feel the need to type and ask questions? Smh, did you really need to ask that question? I hope my response helps you.
And if the hamsters don't do it, move up to rabbits in the wheel. More output..
I'm on my way to turn my dreams into reality. Thanks for the inspection! 👌✌👍😁💚
Amazing! Will you list the items used for this project? I know the list maybe kind of long, but for diy people such as myself...a list would be great! Thanks so much!!!
hi what did you use for installation and what did you do for moister control
Lol he put a dehumidifier in the basement, and up in the attic. It's a food truck, he opened the fu**ing window, what do you think he did?!!! Lol moisture control. He leaves the bathroom fan on, that's what he does! Lol
Great job fellas!! Truck looks really good. Im looking into getting into the food truck life in the next year or two, any suggestions when it comes to looking for a truck? Also what the biggest lesson you've learned so far, when it comes to features in the truck? Would you do anything different?
Hi I would like more details in the electricity part please
Magnificent!!!!!!!!!
Hey I wanna start a foodtruck business too but there is no way I can afford those manufacturers so I would like to build my own as well. I am the diy kinda girl. The only issue I see for me is the electrical part. Don’t know much about that. Any tips?
