Slowly but surely learning a little at a time about carving.
How I carved this quick owl.
Thought I’d try to carve a quick owl and go with the flow. It turned out ok but more practice will only benefit me. Still pretty happy with it.

A little bit about my carving journey.
Very nice, thank you!
Good for you, i carve because it gives me pleasure. Don't care about what others think of it. Just doing what makes me happy. And it's good to see someone else on the same path. Good content keep going.
I think you are well on your way to becoming a premiere cowboy bear carver. 👏👏👏👍👍
Wanted to try an owl next. Thanks for the idea!😎
👀 great mate. Love the accent!😎
lol I sound like a right carrot cruncher. But thanks
Ah thank you. I was happy with that. Cheers
Very good work, i like the hair and the beard!
I’ve just bought some osmo oil and will try it on my hedgehog. Thanks for that it’s nice to know people are interested. Cheers
Great owl! I use Osmo oil 420. It is waterproof, breathable has biocides to kill off the bacteria and fungi and it’s also uv resistant.
A hedgehog would be great! I've tried twice and failed miserably. If my neighbors were outside, I'm pretty sure they didn't appreciate the language. Lol.
lol well you can’t please everyone lol. I’m going to try it next week but we will see. Keep trying I say.
How have you fitted the cannon 8 inch bar on the Sthil battery saw ? I need to use some battery saws for demos and not sure what’s compatible. Great job btw. Good to see other carvers techniques 🪵
The cannon bar went straight on. However it was when I first started pretty much so I hope I’m right lol. I remember putting a carving bar on my 170 and didn’t change the sprocket for ages as I didn’t really understand. It was fine in the end though. The sprocket on the ms70 is 1/4 inch already.
Thank you so much.
I love it
Good job
Well ihave recently started after watching Jordy.Have done wooden Christmas trees.
You do great work for just getting started in carving, I too was inspired by Jordy and Ryan…, the Tiki looks great, I believe you have inspired me to do one myself..
Ah thanks mate. They are good fun to do. Definitely will be doing more. Cheers
Hey brother… I carved my first Tiki after viewing your video a few times… My sister-in-law who recently passed away asked me months ago to carve a tiki for her sister in San Diego. This will be a treasured heirloom for her family. Thank you for the inspiration to get me off my ass and finally carve one.
I wanted to send you a picture of my completed tiki, but I can’t figure out how to do it on this thing..
@@cjjensen2542ah mate I’m sure she is so pleased with it as she looks down with a smile. That’s amazing man.
