BiggggyD, This video makes me smile, but also makes me a bit sad. Arcade1Up had lightning in a bottle and they ultimately squandered it. And I'm not going to be a pessimist here, I don't want to see any company that makes something I want, fail. I hope Arcade1Up can clean house and come back with something that truly pays homage to these AMAZING games! You probably noticed from this video that there were a lot of taglines thrown around. But you don't see one that matters most. And I'm glad Arcade1Up chose not to use it, or something like it, because it would've been a fallacy. The one tagline I hoped to see was, "Quality In ALL THE RIGHT places!" I truly believed when Arcade1Up brought out Atari Star Wars back in 2019, that they were going to put this kind of quality and care into all machines moving forward, that they learned from their previous missteps and would just keep getting better. Sure, Atari Star Wars was $100 more expensive, $499, but for that kind of quality, I was ready to pay the extra premium. But what stinks is, Atari Star Wars was the peak of what Arcade1Up would ever accomplish in terms of quality in all essential areas (well, I also heard good things about the re-issue Star Wars as well), and they would never bring out another 3/4 scale cabinet of that high grade again. And again, Atari Star Wars came out way back in 2019!!! That's why some of us don't care about Arcade1Up as much as we used to, because how long do we have to wait for something with the quality of Atari Star Wars again? Arcade1Up chose instead for their 3/4 scale line, to focus on the cheapest things imaginable and pretend this was "listening" to the customer. They would cut corners on one or more essential elements on each cab, like good controls, emulation, sound, picture quality, etc., and then give us faux coin doors and riser-less designs. The tradeoff sucked. Through these actions, Arcade1Up showed they were ALL IN about profit, with no real respect to the games themselves and the people who loved them. And I'm not saying that Arcade1Up didn't put out other machines that made me smile, but there was always a corner cut somewhere and the prices kept going up without providing REAL extra quality. This is a good reminisce video, but it's also a reminder that not everything was as it seemed. I'll end by saying this. I hope Arcade1Up and other companies in the 3/4 scale market, can regroup and make the community smile again with A TON of new QUALITY products. I think that day is coming, with or without Arcade1Up, but hopefully A1UP will still be a part of it and prioritize quality in all the right places this time. vgv
