There is such a good and interesting story under bunch of nonsense to get through it. Bad writting choices but u did enjoy the watch even with issues. The magic and visuals are better like locations and cool concepts here and there

Captain Finnegan was a really good villain and i am interested in backstory how he found elmer and got caught up in the ocean arch dragon. But he's dead and do like most of the cast syoer rrady to kill ppl 😂😂 callum with that lightning bolt was going for the kill

I hate how Captain Finneganwas in the right for the most part like they literally ask for his help then stole his possession tried tun away. Like no really danger either, the glow worms aren't feed to the leviathans. Captain finnegan was also dumb because he can literally use the glow worms young ti attract them no problems. Him punishing ezran or the group is fair and ezran endangered them to begin with going to him.

Zim I really think why is he here at all? But a big thing is why not allow him to speak by now or begin to so he can be a character. Through him I realize that the story doesn't allow the main cast to have their agency. Instead of allowing each other to go on their own quest it's like no we go together or need permission from ezran or someone

I did enjoy season 5 more than season 4 and episode 7 & 8 are so good. I do see all the flaws tho still there but at least I was entertained and the visuals and xadia lore and world feel lived in and cool. Still have characters I love to see Soren, Claudia going crazy, Callum, sun king . Terry is gone hopefully for good. The pacing, too much characters and characters being side characters, comedy should be better (Soren still makes me laugh and smile) is a problem. Rayala none of her jokes are funny. See Callum grow as a mage and challenged, learning more I wish we focused on his growth more

The fight in season 4 was the best thing to me and wish we got more things like that. The signing and cuts from it wasn't the best but it made it dramatic. Season four had a few good things in a lot of mediocre or bad junk

First of all season 4 and 5 wasn't even bad yea i get rayla and callum broke up but they were still a couple and in season 6 they got back together so guys need to stop judging to seasons that in my opinion were good season 5 brought rayla and callum closer in terms of a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship and season 4 is still good in my opinion so yeah stop judging a season before I get that there was some Questionable moments in season 4 but other than that the season was pretty good. And one more thing these fan boys are getting mad at two seasons that in my opinion was pretty pretty good season 4 and 5 was pretty in terns of relationship building for rayla and callum I know you guys hate this season but a lot of people still loves this series but season 4 and 5 will still be my second favorite to seasons of all time 1 is season 1,2,3,6 and 7 and more than likely seasons 8,9 and 10 so yeah season 5 was better than season 4 but it was still a good season but yeah season 5 and 6 saved raylllum ship and season 7 they are going to be a Official couple in season 7, 8,9 and 10 and yes I know they are going to renew the series for these seasons 8,9 and 10 so yeah I am done hear

I feel like the writers are just too afraid of showing rayla to be in the wrong for her actions, or have her in the wrong about anything. It's kinda been a problem I've had with the writing of her character since the beginning.

I just started this. Season 1. My first imporession, almost immediately is that all of the characters' reactions seem like NPCs in a video game. Their emotions range too wildly and immediate, with the smallest situational change. They go from hatred to friendly in an instant, like robots just reacting how they are programmed to react, rather than characters with real emotions.

I particularily HATE how they make certain GROWN UP characters unnecessarily dorky. It annoys me beyond belief. It may have been funny the first couple of times, but now it has become a matter of beating a dead horse.

the non stop toddler jokes ruined this show... this was meant to be a wonderful story but with the constant poo poo fart jokes and the 'look at me, ima kid king' stupid crap its just a tragedy of arrested development garbage... the last air bender was a touching and mature story, and this was supposed to be its successor...

These subplots that just end without any consequences to the main plot feel like the writers are trying to distract us from the fact they couldn’t come up with anything to put in between aaravos’s backstory and finding his prison. The adding of new characters and plot devices, the sub-arc stories, It’s all just to bide their time until the true climax arrives.

Honestly, S4 and S5 don't seem like TDP at all. The subplot of the desert and the sunfire elves is ok-ish and their adventures just don't seem as natural anymore. It all feels like a convenient storyline for the writers so that they can build hype for s6 and s7. And yes, the storyline is very bloated. We want more rayllum, more zym, not them bringing in new characters which will only be forgotten an episode later. Remember that tiny kid in the gem episode? No. Also, since they messed up s4, s5 not only had to build the story, but also make up for the lost interest from s4, which I do think worked to some extent. We do want jokes, but they should be timed right, something I found problematic. ATLA did a wonderful job balancing jokes and seriousness. But then, you don't hear Sokka make a fart joke in the middle of ripping an airship. It matches the vibe of whats going on. Something that these writers just don't get.

Ezran jeopardized the entire mission and brought the entire plot to a pause, just because he spontaneously regressed into a toddler and decided to risk everyone's lives to save cute toy sellers # 1748 from Pointless Villain. Should Ezran waste more time and solve world hunger before stopping the nigh return of the anti-christ next?

What do you mean, Season 5? There aren't 5 seasons of Dragon Prince. This show ended at season 3. There is no war in Ba Sing Se.

I wanna complain about the lack of consequences as was touched on in the video. Zyms mom gets infected. This would have been a great thing to absolutely throw everyone off their path. An arch dragon? Running around mad and blood thirsty? They’d have to fix her or kill her. If they fix her they may have been able fix lux aria, which would probably help tie up the sun elf side plot quite nicely.

You're right the show has lost Focus. I mean seriously season 4 should have been about the direct aftermath from the war. Forgive me if the address this in the books but wouldn't the other kingdoms be mad at Katolis? That is the story that I would want to know about because it would put more pressure on Ezran as king. Seriously do the other kingdoms know that Viren was cause of those attacks? As for Claudia, we could have seen her actually conduct her search for ways to revive Viren. It would have been interesting to see why Terry fell for Claudia in the first place. As for Rayla and Callum, their relationship should have been tested when the kingdoms came for ezran. Moreover a very simple conflict that the couple could have had is rayla's longevity. She is going to easily outlive Callum. How does that make them feel?

Why didn’t Rayla tell Callum about the coins? Why did his aunt have to stay behind in the bookery? The queen was able to zap every beast perfectly fine without friendly fire, then all of a sudden she can’t? And you’re telling me that Callum has to find a solution for the coins that same day to begin with? Seemed to me that during the day the beasts are a non-issue, so why not come back the next effing day? They set up everything perfectly for Amaya to be the one to get wounded and it’s the queen? Why is she hiding the wound? Also, didn’t it occurs to anyone, like Kazi, Callum, Rayla for example, who knew about the effects of a bite or any wound, to ask “phew we’re out. Is everyone ok? Did anyone get bit?” Why didn’t Callum reassure the Priestess after Rayla’s arrest, “ look, I appreciate you’re doing your best to keep the kingdom save, and I thank you for it. But I trust her, and if you trust me, that needs to be enough.” Like someone who would if asking another high official and peer for cooperation? And she’s just fine after? Why did EVERYONE simply agree to do a heist, without knowing what they’re stealing? Why do we need the characters to be idiots to move the plot along? Why do the plot points make no sense? And why does almost half of the Ocean book take place in the desert?

Small gripe compared to the rest, but S4 starts with everyone at Katolis, then ends in Xadia. But S5 then begins with them in Katolis AGAIN, and then they journey into Xadia. If S6 starts with them in Katolis instead of just cutting to the chase and saving them travel time AND preserving narrative momentum, that would be very disappointing.
