Great playing
Is that what you’d demonstrate on Patreon?
@michaelbishop. I could! Hanneke asked me to make this video for the camp though
@ That means no sheet music.😊😊
@michaelbishop.yes! I meant sheet music for my tunes only, people have asked
32, The Spey in Spate, definitely 😊
@michaelbishop. yes i think that’s right thanks so much, i have terrible tune name memory!
30, Superfly
@michaelbishop. I already played Superfly in the tune a day series!
@ Sorry, it’s Jock Broons, remembered it from Scottish Fish ‘Superfly set”
@ oh thank you! I always forget the name of that one
The challenge of how to finish a tune🙂
Went to favorites at the second down-bow... Outstanding!
@@vance7274 thank you!
Counterintuitive 🙂
Good variations🙂
18 is Pigeon on the Gate🙂
@michaelbishop. thanks!
Really great!
Some very nice playing there Isabel, well done.
I’ll catch up on tunes and tune names shortly! I have some shows coming up this week!
Very good fiddling right there! Thanks! I’ve never heard that 2nd tune. What is it? I really like it.
Andy Renwick’s Ferret!
How you approach writing is at least as valuable as learning to play the tune.🙂
@michaelbishop. I’m glad!
Great players. Thanks for sharing.
Wieniawski and Paganini , seeing who can be the more difficult. Great fun…to watch🙂👏👏
6. Miss Shepherd Reel
Great tunes! Nicely played!
Performing live, stuff happens. Important to keep playing and finish with a smile.🙂
Thank you, Isabel!
An unexpected delight. Bravo!
Outstanding!!!
A new career beckons 🎉
Spot on. Tuition directly from the composer is not so much learning a tune as how to play, interpret their intentions, where the skills and techniques are valuable for a player’s armoury. My image now is of a crow slowly rowing a boat over the water.🙂
Ensure earplugs are in place before learning C part 🙂
Lovely tune. Interesting idea removing excess rosin on the curtains, I’ll give it a try🙂😊
Superb combination of baroque with brakes off fizz. Well done!
Not an Encore without Katie, great set!
Look forward to you teaching this great tune😊
Great playing.
Thanks to your lesson, can now play along..just.
Very nice…!
Lovely play.
Bringing out the best in you both!
We now have your high G yawn embedded in the tune, thank you🤩
Great job Isabel! So full of the 3/3 3/2 slurs , maybe worth emphasising the where and why importance of the bowing. Pdfs of your tunes (tune book for the album?) would be helpful but a lot of work. Eagerly anticipating the next video 🎻🎻🎶🙂
Really nice to see this demystified. It seems almost magical when played fast.
Where can they be purchased?
Right now its only online! You can buy it on bandcamp or if you would like to venmo me $20 i can mail you a physical copy. Thanks!
Assume you’re working on the next one ?…along with a tune book, so much to do🙂🎻
Beluga Whale has to be the title for the next album…pleeease!
Do you plan on putting your recordings out for sale?
My album Late Evening’s Dram is out on bandcamp and spotify! I won’t be recording the new ones yet though
I ask her something playing the piano
Love your Scottish jigs and reels
I guess its kinda like music festivals in ireland, except we close the town off and drink all day as well lol
Great fun! So what were the 24 most important things you learnt?🎻🎻🎻
That 47 minute jams of reels are fun!
Enjoy trying to learn and play along with your tunes, this made me gulp.
Just learn the first half! 😊
@@wildheliantis590 I’ll learn it at 25% speed, record it , then increase playback until somewhere near you. Like auto-tune for fiddlers with no morals.🎻🎻
is her name
Capturing Hanneke's effervescence, Thank you Isabel!
What is her playing the volion
You both obviously wanted to dance to this, good self control💃💃
Two greats in one room. Wow!
Combining precision with lyricism, really annoying but so very good. 🎻🎶
