How Zeus tricked hera, how Poseidon tricked amphitrite & how hades tricked his niece by giving her a pomegranate and forcing her to stay in underworld when she was finally going to be free. Persephone cried everyday after she was kidnapped even if she was being treat well she was basically thrown away and separated from her mother. She was literally manipulated into staying there its not true love either. Demeter would be happy to let her be married if she wasn't kidnapped/forced to be in underworld Demeter just wanted her daughter to be happy. Demeter as a goddess was always abused by Other Greek Gods there are myths were Poseidon and Zeus raped her but her only hope was her daughter who was also taken away from her. How are they misunderstood when a child was being thrown into underworld and where they both cried everyday. As a child she may think that's great but as an adult she will still feel the pain. Now if you are going to say gods and goddesses are different in greek/Hellenic mythology and culture then still it was a mother and child who were taken away and tricked they shead tears at end. Hades is kidnapper and manipulator
