Been playing Genshin Impact for a little over a month! Everything about Liyue makes it my favorite land thus far (still haven't discovered Fontaine or Inazuma yet). I've always loved traditional Chinese music, the erhu being my favorite instrument of all time :) I absolutely love the mix of Chinese instruments with Western rhythms in this game, particularly in Liyue. Such a glorious combination!!!

I have always loved the music and instruments of the Japanese. Compared to most songs and sounds played around this area of the globe, I can’t really explain this, but somehow, anytime I hear most of the music played from Asia or Japan. It always gives me a soothing feel, a piece of Zen, a moment of inner peace

I miss this time tbh.. My favorite is Sumeru,but the ultimate genshin vibes are inherited in Inazuma for me. the biggest connection to GI is in liyue and the most nostalgia will always stay in Mondstadt. Some of the best models Fontaine. I am exited what Natlan and tsaritsas land will be like😊

Sumeru is the true heart of Teyvat. Being in Monstadt felt so guest-like for quite some time, truly. it was a long road before the City of Wind was called Home - with all its officiality and cautiousness of the region itself. Liyue was a big city with a rushed way of life around, someone constantly in a hurry, life goes on and business awaits... and it was always hard to tell if Traveler's a guest or an outsider there. even after meeting lots of new friends, it still felt kinda foreign... Even though the Inazuma events were in the past now, thunders and lightnings of its hostility still resonated deep in the heart of a star-Traveler making it impossible to feel like home there... Fountaine was all like a big and perfected scene play. and the performance eventually started to fade, and all decorations turned to be fake after all... you can't stay in your fantasy theater forever. and only Sumeru... this place, somehow -- from the very first minute of traversing there -- suddenly felt like a real home, it filled heart with comfort and freshness...a small verdant paradise with a softness of petrichor and sweetness of roses and lotuses... warm humid winds and whirling leaves and petals, the voices of the birds far above... playful sounds of flutes and strings somewhere in the mid-city where the gifted red-haired dancer enchants the crowd once more... and a hypnotizing smell of rustling book pages in clumsy hands of some young Academia student, late for finishing their project again... ah, my dear dreamland... i wish we could just stay in Gandharva Ville after the story is finished.
