When David Duval Ruled the World
*Uneditied Video* ua-cam.com/video/iBk14B9ztfo/v-deo.html&ab_
David Duval doesn't get talked about too much anymore.
Which is a shame.
In an era where Tiger Woods was making a huge name for himself, David Duval was ready to break out and claim his spot as one of the best golfers in the world.
And that's exactly what he did.

Shell's Wonderful World Of Golf 1965 | George Knudson vs Al Balding (Improved Audio)
Really admire your channel and content. I notice Performance Golf personalities keep name dropping George Knudson and Moe Norman trying to link their sales pitches to these legends. Not very convinced by PG's authenticity but I'm sure Knudson and Norman would enjoy watching your channel and the authenticity of it's content. Keep up the good work.
Then he was gone..
Great video. I've been fascinated watching George on the Shell videos, so it's been interesting to hear more about the man behind the swing.
What are we whispering? Not fun....
If he didn't get injured, Tiger would have about 8-9 majors.
I was at the final round of the 2000 Open at St Andrew’s. I was there to watch Tiger of course. But my lasting memory of the whole thing was David Duvall’s 2 iron of the second 2nd hole. I was a young lad and had sneaked under the ropes lying down almost on the tee box to the right hand side. And I have never heard an iron hit so crisp and pure it almost sounded like a bullet going off and the ball pierced through the wind. DD had it going on the front nine then collapsed on the back nine and well it was torture to watch him on 17. Great everlasting memory of the best iron shot I have ever witnessed. 🫡🫡🫡🫡

I rooted for David Duval. He was amazingly talented. People love looking for someone to pick on. A great player and a pleasure to watch back in the day.
And a very likeable fella too.
Stop. Woods didn't hold all 4 majors simultaneously. He had 3 one season and 1 the next. No matter how the media wants to spin it, it's not a grand slam. The so called tiger slam is just another made accolade that doesn't matter or count.
Golf experts told him that his grip was wrong and he'd never break 80.
Excellent work. Thanks for taking the time to produce and share.
33 starts for ten wins is absolutely mad.
Perfect timing. I’ve been watching old DD clips all day at work, only to come home to a new one! Thank you sir.
1999 Tiger was down momentarily and DAVID DUVAL ruled supreme! I remember it well. He was incredible for a stretch.
This is so good! This brought back great memories, Duval was amazing and fun to watch. Great video man! 🔥
Great video Trevor - well narrated and structured,
Awesome work as always ! As a newish golfer, I really enjoy discovery my favorite sport's history ! Thank you for this awesome documentary !
*Uneditied Video* ua-cam.com/video/iBk14B9ztfo/v-deo.html&ab_ Hey everybody. I hope you're doing well. The copyright issues for this video are truly unbelievable. I've dealt with them before, but never to this extent. Parts of this video are now also being cut out. As a result, I have posted the unedited version as it was intended, with no ads, for your viewing pleasure. The above link takes you to that video. I recommend watching it. In the future, I'll have to slightly switch up the style to avoid these issues. Thanks for the support and understanding.
i watched this series every sunday when i was a small kid. there are so few of these that are watchable any more. thank you for putting this on the net. it was a unique series because they literally played courses from all over the world. i'm always amazed at how much slower the greens were back then. now, the technology of the clubs and balls used overpower classic courses like this one. a shame. again, my thanks for making this match available to us. be well.
Amazing man
Bakersfield Open: my Grandpa won the Senior edition in the '60s
Good man 👍
LEGEND! My gran was a championship golfer but women were not taken seriously then in the country i grew up in. John Daily is a diamond in the rough
Canada is wild.... @8:30 a wolf just casually walks out behind the pedestrians lol

Great video my dude... if you are not a bot
Dude I thought this video was from ESPN, great job on a great story of a guy who obviously had some demons, but Daly is still a down to earth guy.
A slightly odd-looking swing.
Tiger did his fair share of shady shit. He just got away with it for awhile. Till his wife chased him out of his mansion with his own clubs. Haha. 😄
John Daly is 100% the reason why my swing looks the way it does
A finer swing than legendary golfers who have won. Majors, but thereis more to winning majors than just a great swing , that he was admired by Hogan says a lot. All i can say is i would sell my soul to swing and strike the ball like him , cheers
Excellent documentary about this great golfer !!!
The GOAT for sure!
I once played against a veteran with one arm. He couldn’t hit the ball far, but he hit it straight. He adjusted his game for this and his short game was outstanding. He could chip the ball to within a foot or two of the hole. Any time he got the ball within about eight feet of the hole, that ball was going in. This guy played in the mid seventies consistently. I was very impressed by his ability to overcome his disability.
17:34 Moe sounds exactly like Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys (respectfully)
Amazing doco, love John, he's such a character
You really get the feeling that a lot of golfers despise people who don't come from money. Absolutely sickening.
JDJ is sponsored by hooters. Absolutely biblical
F em all .. I love u Johnny boy
But tiger woods wife can beat him? Lol lucky he didn't get a DV colorado sucks
His life is not done!...best time to come...my 50 cents P. S. Great docu, thanks for that...
His life is not done!...best time to come...my 50 cents
Tommy Bolt !!!!
None of the people who kicked him when he was down ever did anything as selfless and generous as John.
It is never too late, as long as you're willing to fight. Never allow yourself to subscribe to hatred or negative self-talk; whether it be from within, or from external sources. You do not have to be THE best; you have to be YOUR best. You were blessed with your life for a reason, no matter how much it feels like you don't belong or contribute to others. You can ALWAYS come back, and you matter to someone. As long as you're willing to fight for it. You deserve to. You owe it to yourself. Praise the sun, may you never go hollow, and may God bless you.
Bro... Good video here!
Excellent documentary! I'm not a golf fan, but i found this very interesting!👏
Well done!!!
