Here is finally a better quality for you. The pictures are from vestas turbines with a hub height of 140 meters, at wind speeds of about 14-18 m/s.

GM truck transmissions: "That's nothing"
"Okay Gordon Freeman, insert the specimen into the mass spectrometer in 3.... 2.... 1...."
This is me working for the same company for 10 over years.
As a mechanic, I call that the sound of money. 😅
Well.. they are still spinning so... xD
how many levels of sound can there be from a thing spinning round and round? thousands apparently
now I can see what it would be like to climb a wind turbine, except without the constant fear of it collapsing
1:08 I can't believe the gears actually queefed here
"Welcome to the Black Mesa Research facility."
Fantastic thank you for the insight into the workings and your job 👍🇬🇧
I think it’ll need more than a bucket of grease, just sounds like the wife’s whining would be interesting to see the fix 😂👍🇬🇧
This ship is headed to LV-223 and the other passengers aren't human....

At first that sounded like a Lisa Gerrard song…
Trump hates wind turbines cause they're killing all the whales
Dude, this would be a good setting for a horror game.🎉
Everything's a smoke machine if you work it hard enough
I finally know what the inside of a turbo encabulator looks like under operation.
Sounds like an interdimensional portal getting ready to crack open.
Sounds fine to me, so what's the issue ? I've heard far worse bearing noise and this is ok. It's a meaningless video if a normal bearing sound is not added onto the video to compare with a so called faulty one.
Jesus H that sounds like very expensive trouble.
Sets auto destruct sequence. Leaves in one helluva hurry!
3:01 why is this blurred?
Maybe because his own phone is in the view as he takes reference images for the report? Perhaps there's something proprietary or perhaps security-related with what is being photographed there?
Do these have magnets to catch the particles or oil filters how often do they replace the oil
Los medidores estaban trabajando y según los limpió dejaron de funcionar 😂 él los descompuso
now that its nice and loose, how much has efficiency gone up? lol
Wait, so is this where they get scary ambiance in video games from?
That's a meaty brake disc
Finally found something profitable from wind turbines , UA-cam clicks !
Are these things synchronous with the grid ( I mean can only generate power at one blade-RPM)? Or can they somehow generate power at various blade-RPMs and then feed that into the grid?
Many thanks for this video. I am intensely interested in wind generators but as all the sites are posted and gated off for obvious reasons I can’t even get close to any. What a job. Amazing machines.
Damn. Why speeding up the video? It was completely unnecessary. Thumbs down for that!
that oil looks too goopy for use.
There's your 'Green energy'. Still needs petroleum. They just don't get it
I don’t know if this is real or not because they’re so environmentally friendly I can’t imagine that they have any parts that would wear out any oil that would have to come from dirty hydrocarbons and any metal that would have to be forged using coal and other materials in a furnace fired by some sort of Fuel - there are electric arc furnaces of course
The problem is really not that bend, but that all us muggins pay the companies to do nothing when the wind blows. It's a con trick, and cleverly done.
A lot of oil...just said the main problem with the wind turbines: that right there is a semi worth of oil that does, in fact, need changing...mind you the turbine still hasn't created the same amount of energy used to create it still at this point...way into its career...
Looks like a tree trunk made of steel in heavy winds.
Sounds a little bit crunchy
I do like the emergency exit sign pointing at the hatch to the top of nacelle. I suppose that does help; it replaces the problem of being inside a generating nacelle which is on fire with balancing 131m above the ground on a very small platform with no railings, which is also on fire...
Glad you're at the bottom of the tower but I don't think I'd be >in< the tower. Also, hello fellow Algorithm travelers!
That is not a job for me! Kudos to the brave souls that can do it!
The turbines on the farm I work at are needing Gbx replacements after only 4 years/apox 30-32,000 grid hours. To my understanding, theyre just repurposed marine gearboxes. Considering how much shipping goes on in this world, Im amazed anything gets done if they're this poorly built/unreliable. In my opinion (granted im not an expert), something thats supposedly designed to run 24/7 should be able to do it for more than 4 years. We used to make cars that lasted 20 years when operafted within their deisgn limits.
Checked with Stockton Rush over at Oceangate. It is all good.
...at least the pump still works!
It's interesting to see at what speed the turbine itself rotates.
Nope.
No wonder these piece of shit things fall apart
You know, I'm not normally afraid of heights. I can stand on a mountain ridge and look down into a canyon with no problem. I can fly at 9500 ft with my son all day long, gawking out the window and enjoying myself. But when you popped that top open and climbed out to fiddle with the weather gear, I started getting a squirrely feeling in my legs. Never mind the fact that you used your PPE effectively and were very careful, and never mind the fact that I was sitting on my couch in my front room, I was feeling every second of it. Whew.
This says loads... No wonder they occasionally disintegrate.
