Children of Men at 50 is criminal
Paris, Texas is something else. Since I watched it for the first time a couple years ago I haven't been able to find anything remotely good. It might've set the bar too high.
Loved your choices!
some movies I really liked are Mullholand drive, rosemary's baby, napoleon dynamite, 12 monkeys, to kill a mocking bird, good will hunting, the thing, the big Lebowski, unforgiven, night of the living dead, true romance, the girl with the dragon tattoo, gone girl. Also, I watched election because of this list and thought it was a great film.
30/50
Awww the memories, I wish I could go back in time.
A weird Taste I must say 😃
Hot fuzz such high rank why ?
A lot of film school 101 choices, but having Sideways in your top 3 makes you alright in my books.
Nice top 50
I haven’t seen some of these but I have heard of most of them and agree with a lot of the ones on here. I kinda guessed Sideways would be on here and I was really surprised when I saw CMIYC as #1 cause we share the same favorite. It doesn’t have that much foreign films here but I don’t even watch THAT many and this is a list of your personal favorites so I try to keep an open mind when I watch these and as should a lot of people on here
55 mins
nice
My top 50 would be....fifty other movies besides those.
Wow you’re soooo cool
Good list, The Social Network, Willy Wonka, Breakfast Club, Goodfellas, Back to the Future and Catch Me If You Can would probably make my Top 10 too honestly
Nice list. 😊
Nothing wrong with this list. I like every film on it. It would not be my top 50, but it all is a matter of taste.
Yes sir!!!
this list is so braindead
Catch me if you can, as the foundation of your list, makes the whole list crumble, in my humble opinion
this is Army of the Dead style?
50%
Well you did say favorites not best films
❤❤❤❤ Hare Krišna 🍀🔥🎉🦚🪷💥💯🩵🌞💕🌟🌺✨🎁🍂🧡
I love to see Sideways in third position, great pick! A lot of great movies btw. I suggest you to watch, if you didn't, "Nebraska" and "Frances Ha" :)
Great vid and it was so nice meeting ya!
It was great to meet you, Bryan! See ya next year!
Great meeting you
Nice picks
It's over a year since you've posted now. But I take it based on your love of oldschool nostalgia/feel-good films and Sideways by Alexander Payne with Paul Giamatti being in your top three... you must've loved The Holdovers
Very poor, just western stuff
You left out Barbie!
It is a shame that you didn't do a reaction to Nimona.
DiCaprio is flawless in KOTFM. Y’all have no taste nor media literacy. Jesus.
Good reaction.
Hmm, clearly not a student of world cinema. Nice try.
...or they just don't enjoy those films 🤷♂️
We don’t need to be jobless to enjoy some movies you know 😉
@@Danky_chu huh?
@@Celestialrob there are almost no opportunities after studying cinema, most of those student has a diploma, and don’t use it and finish their life doing a small job that has nothing to do with cinema, or no job at all. We may not have your time to watch movies, but at least we got good job
@@Danky_chu there are more opportunities to day to see films from foreign countries and films from the twentieth century. I'm not sure why you're talking about employment as it seems to have little relevance to the typ e of film you might watch?
Fnaf>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>this entire list
You should see Fallen Leaves!
It’s on the list! :)
1:10 - Honorable Mentions 1:56 - Anatomy of a Fall 3:01 - The Killer 3:51 - Saltburn 4:49 - John Wick Chapter 4 5:41 - Blackberry 7:01 - May December 7:56 - The Holdovers 9:25 - Past Lives 10:58 - Poor Things 12:55 - Oppenheimer
Hearing you name most of my top 20 in your honorable mentions and seeing some “film bro” associated posters in your background, I was very concerned what your list would look like. Really solid list and a testament to how incredible of a year it was
I gotta update my posters, it’s been a long time coming, haha. But thank you for watching the video, I appreciate it!
@@BryanSudfield let’s be real, Dark Knight, Training Day, and Goodfellas are stereotypical for a reason; they all rock
Love the list Bryan, so glad we got to have you on for an episode! Your takes are always some of the best!
Nice list, although not even an honorable mention for Godzilla Minus One? Maybe you haven't seen it yet. This movie surprised me big time.
Hello. Sadly saw it after recording this. It would’ve been a high honorable mention, had I seen it before recording.
I like your list. I’m also glad that Killers of the Flower Moon and Barbie are only on your honorable mentions. You were not pressured to go with the flow.
Oppenheimer is an average movie made by a good director and with good actors. The editing is terrible, not from the timeline of the story but from the cuts and soundtrack. There's 1 second cuts when it's only dialogue for no apparent reason (specially on the romantic scenes), sometimes it cuts for an expressionless person's face when someone else is talking and then quickly back to the person with the dialogue. And music in the background for about 90% of a 3 hour movie, many times in places that isn't necessary either. Definitely overrated.
ah loved this! 💕
I still need to see a few movies, but so far I’ve rated 2 movies as a 10/10, Oppenheimer and Godzilla Minus One. Right behind them are The Iron Claw, John Wick 4, The Holdovers, and Air. And, yes, Saltburn is in my top 10!
I like your list but where's the boy and the heron?
Oppenheimer for me too. It was a whole new movie experience for me…feeling two opposite emotions, the ENTIRE movie. Art. Real art.
John Wick? Seriously?
A very good year for movies, 2023. I was beginning to lose hope.
