Did you pick this up at lows if yes what one
Yes I got this at Lowes 3XTREME Action 18-lb 5000-sq ft 18-0-1 Weed & Feed Fertilizer www.lowes.com/pd/Sta-Green-STA-GREEN-3XTREME-5M/1001416478
Why don't you simply show the instruction printed on the door operator? The French version can be seen at the 0:46 mark and almost every other segment like at 3:08, that you take your camera to the operator. .
Some people are visual learners. I’ll just say this.. Many people have thanked me for making this video.
Background music is annoying as hell
Thanks for your opinion
How many tons of rock did you use?
I ordered 4 yards. Not sure how much that would be in tons.
Where’s the weed tarp 🤷🏻♂️
It’s down. More videos coming 👍
Why apply iron in this humid weather ?
I put down Yard Mastery Stress Blend which contains Iron.
Didn't blow or rinse off the iron🤌🤌
Correct!!! 👍
How is that GCI tall fescue holding up here in the summer(Michigan) im looking to do a overseeding soon
Hey, the GCI TTTF is holding up pretty good this season. We have gotten a decent amount of rain the last few weeks though. I like it. Thanks for commenting 👍
Thanks for sharing. Picked these up yesterday heading outside to get started.
That’s great! Thanks for the comment and watching. Best of luck!
Good job
Thank you! 👍
I was wondering, can't really find the solution online, we moved to complete new build neighborhood and I was the first one to do my backyard, which honestly for my first time ever doing this kind of job looked awesome, until all the neighbors were not doing any job for the last 3-4 months, letting all kind of stuff growing in their yards so that everything started spreading out with the wind and my lawn is now slowly being eaten by clover, but I was told that I shouldn't applicate any weed killers until my lawn is at least 1 year old, is that true? I do want to fight the clover, but I don't want to kill the lawn in the process
Great question. That is true, this should not be approved a newly established lawn. A broadcast application could harm the new grass. You can spot treat with a spray bottle if you have just a couple areas.
I would wait until next season to try something like this though. Thanks for the question and watching. Best of luck with your lawn journey!
Very complete instructions, they want you to be successful...!
Yes, very specific on how to apply. Thanks for the comment and watching! 👍
Do you or actually water to water it or do you use the condensation from the lid
I would use a water bottle and just spray the soil damp daily.
A good portion is going forward but I noticed on my mini the impeller has a slight incline towards the end to help throw over wheel
This video is already one year old and I’m just now seeing it. I hate to tell you, but nothing that you spray on your lawn is going to completely kill the wild Violet. For complete control you have to dig it out by hand. Chemical companies will list all the different weeds. The chemical will kill just to sell you their product. I have been able to wipe out wild violet in my lawn, but it always comes back the next season. Also, don’t forget your PPE When you’re mixing your chemical.
Yes, I made this video in 2022. That fall I killed off my lawn and did a complete renovation. And even now there are some small patches of wild violet near the sidewalk area. I guess containment is the best you can do. Thanks for the comment and suggestions 👍
Looks like your blocked in, better get to work, I'm old and moved where I don't have to do any yard work again !!!
lol I was. Took about 3 hours to move it all. Did you see the part 2 clip? ua-cam.com/users/shortsA1kpWeHfSiU?si=0GRdEGMnp6pXjm-h
Can’t find any info how to take seedlings out. It’s impossible without ripping the roots out
The only thing I could recommend is removing them from the pod a little earlier and moved to a larger container. Thanks for the question 👍
People really record themselves doing the most mundane shit 💀
And people watch it lol 😎
Did you water twice a day with just a spray bottle?
Yes just the spray bottle. Just a couple sprays each time to keep the soil moist.
Cusntas valvulas y donde estan ubicadas? La primer en el tapon del relleno del aveite y la otra?
There is only one PCV valve. It is located between the air filter box and the oil fill cap. About a $7.00 part. I hope this helps you. Thanks
I'm curious as to why you didn't water after application or the following day?
When using a hose end sprayer application it’s watering in as you apply. Plus it was supposed to rain the day after. Thanks for the comment and watching 👍
This video was very helpful. Specially when you married to Amanda doesn’t want to read owner manuals. Thank you so much
lol you are welcome 👍
Great job on making our backyard looking beautiful.
That spreader is ridiculous to use. It will stripe. Your lawn doesn't matter how fast you go. You've got to keep the right wheel turning all the time and the edge guard is the only way to put the fertilizer and seed down so you get consistent ground contact. We used it and we have a stripped lawn.
Haven’t had an issue with mine 🤷♂️ but I know you and many others have.
Can this be used when seeding
Yes you could use it when seeding. But you may want to use something like a 12-12-12 to help push root growth. Here is a video link ua-cam.com/video/msZJHNy8ohQ/v-deo.htmlsi=5KRFykle7wvHuo4d
@@grassymitten5324 Ok and can I combine it with the seedling sodding fertilizer Jonathan Green ?
Yes you can.
But I wouldn’t recommend doing both at the same time. I would wait 4 weeks between products
@@grassymitten5324 Wouldn’t it give me the same NPK ratio ?
Good job! Although you already had a nice lawn so it’s hard to tell…. I’m sure if your lawn was in bad shape you would have noticed more of a change!
Thanks, I really appreciate that 👍 I killed that lawn and grew a tall fescue lawn 2 years ago. I really like it.
Pop 4 screws in each vertical and you’re solid
Good suggestion! 👍
You note that this product will not kill creeping Charlie. Have you found a product that is effective in controlling that weed?
Great question. Yes I did get a product that can kill creeping Charlie. It’s a very tough weed to kill. I just so happen to have made a video on that. Here’s the link ua-cam.com/video/S2Vs72-8K6w/v-deo.htmlsi=I1QWBSDO9oeBfs6M
@@grassymitten5324 Thanks for the product recommendation. I will give it a try. I'm hoping I can avoid a complete renovation.👍
A renovation is what I ended up doing that year but I was planning on it anyway. You may need to do 2 applications to kill it all. Best of luck to you!
where are you located I'm thinking about renovating my north Carolina lawn with GCI TTTF great vids man
I’m in Michigan. This is my second season after my renovation with GCI TTYF. I love it! Thanks!
Also you may like Mr. Fergusons lawn channel. He lives in N.C. Really good content.
@@grassymitten5324 currently watching him thank you yea and he is close to where I am
3:15 - or, preferably from a small town Ace Hardware or mom and pop hardware store. I bought a new one today from my small town mom and pop shop for ~50$ - paid a few dollars more than I could've gotten it for via Prime, but money stays in the community instead of into the pockets of rich elites like Musk and Bezos.
Nothing wrong with that. Got to love small local businesses 👍
Does this change any existing remotes!
I believe all remotes have to be reprogrammed together. It may wipe out the memory
The secret is to do it more often so it does not get so bad.
Yes absolutely!
Love Andersons but lawnbox is pretty pricey. I have over 12k lawn just can’t pull the tigger but I did lean green which was worth it. Thanks again on the video.
Yeah for a larger yard it would be very costly. Thanks for the comment 👍
Thank you!
You are very welcome 👍
I saw a vid one time where the guy said that the spinning broadcast wheel is positioned too low so the granuals hit the inside of the wheels causing uneven broadcasting of the fert. I think he was correct on that
I did see that. Supposedly the spreader was modified to correct this issue. I have had any issues with mine.
@@grassymitten5324 I agree and more aggravating is that if the lawn is wet (as is recommended) the fert will build up on the inside of the wheels and make an unholy mess. I have one that I am putting in the recycle bin tomorrow.
@darrylcrum2495 ok, what are you going to get instead? A lot of good options out there. I’m still using my Edgegaurd mini. I really haven’t had too many issues with it yet.
@@grassymitten5324 I am getting a handheld
How did this stuff work? Last year I tried Johnathan Greens organic grub killer. I wont use the toxic kind as I have kids. I need to re treat my lawn this year and was wondering how this stuff worked.
Thanks for the comment. I had zero grub issues the year I used this product. If you want to use full organic Lawnbox has products. I used their Grubout last season and it did fine. Link ⬇️ lawnbox.com/?rfsn=7143820.62490b&.62490b
Thanks for the update. I will try some of their products this year.@@grassymitten5324
What about those cells that come On the back?
Cells on the back? Sorry I’m not sure what you mean.
Thank you! I've watched several other videos and no one but you explained to use the button on the back of the remote. Thank you!
You are very welcome. Glad I was able to help 😀
You rock
Thanks 👍
How do I get both wall mounted keypad and remote to stay programmed at the same time? As soon as I programmed the remote the keypad need ti be reset and vice versa.
I have not ever had that problem. The wall mount that I have is hard wired to the system. Sorry I don’t have an answer for you at this time. If I find a solution I’ll respond to you again.
Just remove the air box remove 10 minutes of hassel
Learned yesterday that the batteries in the remote are placed Positive + side up while the one in the sensor, which is placed on your door, is placed in Positive + side down...these directions are imprinted inside the respective items.
What is the line running from the brake booster over to the cruise control actuator called?? I broke mine yesterday
Sorry I don’t have the Jeep anymore but I think it’s the actuator cable. I’ll have to look into it more.
Thanks for sharing! 👍
All the other videos just told you how to do the simple one press the button on the garage door opener then press the button on the remote doesn't work on mine finally I found this one thank you very much
Glad I was able to help 👍
Don’t rake just let the mower do the job good idea
Thanks for the comment and watching 👍
First of all, you installed it on the wrong side of the post. You should install either 1 or 2 braces on the opposite sides of the fence pickets. That is where the strength is at, not installing it on the facing side of the wobble. These work very well if installed correctly on the left/right sides, not the front/back of the post. Just FYI.
Thanks for the tip. 👍
Second of all usually comes after first of all...
I do the same thing. Wasn’t sure if I was right or not. But I was forced into mowing my own grass at 63 so I’m making it up as I go. When I get too many leaves, I mulch them with the mower and put them in my flower beds for the winter for the nitrogen, then clean up what doesn’t break down in the spring. Glad to see someone else who mulches the leaves into the grass. Funny thing for me is I don’t have a single tree in my yard. It’s all thanks to my neighbors overhang on all sides of my yard that I am blessed with leaf clean up.
Kate, I’m glad I can give you some reassurance that mulching is a good way of taking care of the leaves. Even if none of them are yours lol. I appreciate you watching and your comment. Take care 👍
Has anyone come across a version of the remote with no program button on the back? Mine doesn't have one and it's killing me to try and figure out
I did 2 styles of remotes. Go to about the 3 minute mark and I program a remote without a button on the back. Hope this helps. 👍
@grassymitten5324 didn't catch that in my initial skim. Thanks big dawg
Consider adding Surfactant to the Spurge Power.
That’s a good point, thanks. 👍
