Seeing all your ammo content definitely shows a huge love for shooting. Do you work LEO or mil, or some other job that involves firearms?
@@bnet-nn7bu prior military and yes I love the accuracy and the challenge of what speed does to shot placement!!! Also practicing and gaining knowledge of what I’m capable of with different equipment. A lot can go into it but I enjoy it as much as bbqing haha
Now I know why there’s no shortys when I go to Walmart 🥲😅

Put some silicone grease on the rubber seals of the ammo cans. Prevent them from drying out and cracking
Nice videos I like ur videos
Academy still has steel case?
Yes sir
SHTF…you might have a lot of guns….but you freak out and grab the .40 ammo and you got 2 9mm pistols..!! How civvies think..!! Stick with one caliber for pistol One caliber for rifle KISS….. Keep It Simple / Stupid Logistics is not a lot of civvies strong points. Look at militias….. Hey, I’m just retired from the military and know / seen things and how they work
@@MountaintravelerEddie 9-223/556-12 gauge -6.5 creedmoor all I stack besides the dif grains but yea I’ll try dif calibers out if ppl have it but for my stockpile I keep it simple there’s dif guns I want but all same caliber as the ones I have just half to worry about stocking more mags
@ 1. Use a dump pouch to retain mags 2. Stick to 1 cal pistol 1 cal rifle 3. Think about how you would hump / ruck / back pack with all of these guns. 4. Are you by yourself or is there another person? 5. If you’re up close / personal like I was in Fallujah Iraq, you have a 97% chance of death. As for grains…..stick to the same grains for rifle ammo. .223 - 55 grain isn’t going to work effectively past 400’iah as we had the PKM’s firing at us past 1,000 I do teach people near me. I used to teach classes in PH, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, Poland, Norway etc when I was active duty. I’ve done Balikatan quite a few times in my career, plus after retirement, I still trained some Marines there. My nickname was “Loko punyeta”….for a reason..!!
@@MountaintravelerEddie from what I’ve seen with 55 gr it’s ok to 500 after that the wind takes it. Ballistics is dif though. I run an acog and get pretty fast hits 2-400 yards. With irons never tried past 300 m
@ shooting a person is much different man…..I got 8 years of combat in 4 countries. In 5.56 I stick to 77 grain .308 175 grain 45 cal 185-200 grain Of course I’m shooting gallon milk jugs at 1,000 yards
@@MountaintravelerEddie got me there I’ve only shot deer 223 64 gr soft point and 140 gr for 6.5

I get my ammo cans from harbor freight for $8 when on sale.
My previous ones are from Amazon but these ones here from military surplus store is more air tight than what I’ve been getting
That’s my kind of bling bling.
Mini Shells are great.
Sheeeeeesh!
Where did you get yours? On the mossberg website right now they want $700 I want mine so bad i almost had the funds then i got this nasty speeding ticket while i was doing uber going 45 in a 20 fucking school zone popped up outta nowhere

On the street they are normally under $600. I got one at academy for around $550. Credit card discount of 5% and a coupon.
@@jonjon7324 that’s where I got mine
Hi Mr. Pang. Can I send you some samples of better desiccants for your ammo cans? I have a small startup in IL that sells fiber desiccant that lays flat and VCI, molecules that bond to metal to prevent oxidation. Both made for ammo and firearms. I am only looking for honest feedback. Thank you!
I’ll try it. What’s your company name
For the most part I try to get the same ammo but if the grains is the same I’ll put them together
When you stockpile, do you care about mixing different brands (Federal, Winchester, etc.) together in the same ammo can if they are all the same type of round?
Nice.
I like where this going. New ammo can mean it time to fill them up, rinse and repeat :D
Three questions: 1. Where do you find those 81mm cans usually? 2. What do you normally store in them? 3. If it's ammo, isn't that inconvenient if you wanna access them due to the opening being on the top and how far down you will have to reach?
@@thatitguy6812 military surplus/mini shells in boxes/not really
Love finding surplus metal cans. Recently my LGS had a bunch of British 556 cans for sale theyre brown with some interesting markings and have foam liners. Those 81mm cans are really nice!
@@Grooove_e you can find some good things at military surplus stores
you call 1000 a "stock pile" its not even one full etage of a regular Metal Garage Storage Shelve, jeah putt all into ONE BIG BOX when shit hits the fan, this large containe is not fast put into your pocket..LOL

Just leave them in the box bruh. 😅 that way you keep a round count.

Harbor Freight bro.. they're running 50MM cans for $10 in their parking lot sale which lasts until the 13th... @PANG_671 i was thinking the same thing homie. Hopefully get dat 5.56 down too. Thank God 22lr is still fairly cheap. My wife got 3150rds of 22lr federal for $224 otd. I looked online the other day and saw i could've gotten a better deal. The prices are fluctuating constantly online, so I try and jump on the best deals asap.
@@derickj1976 usually do online. Mostly look for free shipping and sometimes 6 dif sites before I buy. $8 sum for ar and 10 sum for 9 seems to be the best I can find. 7 sum for ar I’ll skip whatever caliber I was supposed to get haha
@PANG_671 i used to pay out a lot for shipping and even more for insurance against loss, theft, damage, etc. I just recently signed up with bulkmunitions, and really like their prices plus free shipping. . They're a Christian organization, and I like that 10% of the money goes to a Christian-based, 2A-supporting non-profit.

I would recommend keeping ammo brands church and state. Much easier to diagnose a problem if you start having issues. I always throw a cut up box in with the type of ammo the container is storing as well. After couple dozen cans all ammo starts looking the same haha
Keep grinding my guy.
👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🫡
Mixing of brands can cause some irritating problems when interspersed with other good ammo. Always test new brands to assure it works effectively in your firearm before mixing it with other brands. Ideally keep your stock pile a single brand that is known to work well in your forearm.
@@dthunter2506rem understood! If I can get at least everything in 10x10 at 300 good enough for me
