Yes, you can use it. But remember to submit the SG arrival card too.

4 hours is more than enough to transfer from T1 to T2, including re-checkin. After you have re-checkin your baggage in T2, if there's time, you can even visit the Jewel just opposite T1 baggage claim area. But i would recommend visit after you re-checkin your baggage, as you don't know the queue when re-checkin your baggage in T2.

Hello, you just need to activate it once during your preferred travel date. At the gate, instead of passing through the gate itself, you just need to show it to the train staff in the booth to pass through. Don't need to show your passport.

You can take either the JR Osaka Loop line or the Yamatoji Rapid line to Osaka and from Osaka take the JR Tokaido Sanyo Main Line Rapid to Kyoto.

Yes, you can. But make sure if VISA is required for you or not, as it will take days for approval for VISA. If not required, then its fine.

Actually you can do this weeks before your flight. I don't recommend on the same day as you don't know what might happen at the last minutes or too many things happen during your flight, you don't want to be anxious filling up the information or form.

It drop you depend on whether you have clear the immigration or not. If you have clear the immigration, then they will drop you at the departure hall. If you are still in the transit area, they will drop you at the transfer lounge at T4. Free shuttle bus is available at both T1 and T2, just that T2 is closer to T4.

Both have it pros and cons, but i think it is the additional perks and combo deals that gain popularity.

Tokyo 1-Day Ticket (Tokyo Free Ticket), i think it is also a good pass too. It is great for those who don't need additional benefits or perks from other pass. Worry-free in terms of transports in Tokyo as it cover JR train but approximately around the Yamanote Line.
