@@BellainBooks​​⁠ Hey Bella! Want to hear a poem about THE “Tortured Poet”? You heard me, the greatest Poet to ever live and One who was tortured greatly. He authored 66 books just by Himself. Without further ado here is the poem. It’s called, “MIGHTY HANDS (The Blood Speaks) Those mighty hands though nailed through with force lifted my shame and fastened my worth. Though crushed, and bloodied they seemed, with ease, carried the guilt of this world. The Almighty Himself there hanged on a tree that He had there once formed. Oh there the Carpenter set in agony carved and nailed to His own work. There those mighty men though truly known as weak and impure, stood that day in providence and made His death and my redemption sure. Little did they know that in three days the King would soon return with keys in hand from whence had came after the cross that He endured, there unseen He retained those keys in His gaze though death and hell there were. He then rose again in victory the grave’s cold grip He purged! Because this truth within my soul my fragile life endures, though not on earth but in eternity, in Christ my life is stored. Therefore the call is there today from the Savior’s cleansing blood, come to me and be set free from the gavel’s fearsome thud, the gavel in the very hand that once held me, Jesus’ precious blood! Oh the judgement to come is very sure, and it will come without a pause. Death’s door May soon close with you behind its trapping clause. But know now that this truth within my soul is not yet too far, though the Laws demands May clench and tear at the wretched sinner’s heart. The Law of light shining bright on every lie you ever told, and don’t forget on every little thing you ever stole, every “secret” lustful thing that you had ever thought, was right before His Holy eyes and in His gaze you’re caught. There is no way to deny you stand guilty of this crime. Rightly so there is Hell to pay you’re surely due the time, BUT in your place One has died to pay the price for me and you. Provision was made by Grace I’m saved and you can be safe too! It’s not too late for any measure of sinner, so it’s not too late for you! So there today for mercy Call, upon His precious Name. And by tonight in His book of Life He’ll write your very name. And there He’ll seal this very day your tired soul with rest. The Spirit of Him from deep within will fill your empty breast. And then just like me you’ll go within His pow’r to bring this truth to light. Just as I to you, a dying being, bring it to you this very night. My hope is that just as me you may be tightly held by Him. Those very hands of might once tightly held to wood for your sin! 🤍🩸🫂
