I know that there are still many elderly people living in the red zone because they refuse to leave the house / ground where they were born. You're lucky the police didn't catch you going in there. You don't wanna end up in police custody here in Japan. They don't play around over here.... I'm living in Fukushima for the past 20 years and know people that have lost everything. Family , friends etc Many of them have build up their lives elsewhere in Fukushima away from the coast. Some have gone back as well.
