Honestly, I didn't switch from jazzbass to stingray for aesthetic reasons or endorsement. It's really because I got a tone that perfectly suited my tastes, my rig, and LANDMVRKS. Especially massive, deep low end but bright high. The stingray is also far more comfortable and lighter! But whether it's Fender or MusicMan, they make both beautiful instruments! For me, the 5 HH configuration with the pickup switch in position 2 works best.

I have an MT-2 everyone keeps telling me it’s garbage. I love the tone but I haven’t found a good setting/set up to get it working for me yet. Are you running it through a signal blender? Also are you running it alone or with another distortion added? I have a boss compressor and noise suppressor on the same board and also a DARK GLASS ADAM. BTW, you guys are one of my favorite band. I was specifically searching for your bass rig set up. Your bass tone is excellent. That’s how I found your you tube channel

@@johnsandoval3506 signal goes from the compressor to the M81 (for the clean signal), then to the signal blender. DP3X is alone on the blue channel of the signal blender (distorted signal). MT2 is alone on the red channel of the signal blender with a noise suppressor after it, and when I activate it, it runs in parallel with my clean signal and with my distorted signal. As for the settings, level and distortion are maxed out, then everything else is set at 2 o'clock, except for the low, which is set at 10 o'clock. Thanks for the kind words!

Je n'utilise plus la B7K depuis 2019. J'ai maintenant une dp3x et une sansamp de tech21 et je test actuellement la mxr m81 en remplacement de la sansamp. Mais je suis comme toi un grand fan de tech 21 (surtout de la dp3x personnellement), et honnêtement je suis pas du tout friand de darkglass, je n'ai d'ailleurs jamais utilisé la B7K seule, toujours avec une mxr m80 devant. Concernant le bass fly rig, c'est pour la maison vu que je laisse mon rig en France, mais il est prêt à m'accompagner si je dois voyager ultra léger, prendre l'avion et/ou si j'ai pas accès à mon rig !
