Just subbed! Loving these videos.
veitchii 4033 is so cute, 4033 is my favorite veitchii❤
Can you do a grow space tour? I'd love to see how your collection is progressing (especially the veitchii in the showcase you did a while back).
Thank you for this video! I recently bought one and I wanted to make sure it stayed alive lol
Do you know if i could get any in Canada?
I loved this ! You have awesome Veitchii! Will you be making other species/hybrid spotlights?
I reaaally would like to see an actuallization of this video
In the video, what do you use to fix the tree?
Beautiful plants, very nice selection :)
I have one and it grows leaves, but there's never a pitcher body... Does anyone have any tips?
Your plant might want more light to make pitchers
@@florabundance i put it right in front of a window a while ago, but it still is being difficult...
Amazing collection 😍
Thank you! My mind is blown on a daily basis watching them grow. They are such amazing plants!
Do you have facebook or instagram?
I have an instagram, working on being more active on it @florabundancetx
Hi, What is the temperature day and night during the germination process ?
I start my seeds in a grow tent that stays between 70 and 85F
Is there a good fertilizer? I can use on my nepenthes through the winter. I’ve heard of using orchid fertilizer, Maxsea. or just anything in general that would boost the size of the pitchers?
I use Maxsea at a 1/4 strength, twice a month as a foliar feed. Higher fertilization rates can lead to stronger leaf growth, but at the expense of larger pitchers
@@florabundance would using fish pellets, be good enough for now? Just drop a few in the oldest pitchers every two weeks.?
Beautiful
Thank you
You should do ang update video about this:)
I do want to make an update, especially for the small ones at the end!
Fine specimens. I love veitchii, recently bought my first, BE3734 N.veitchii ‘Bareo Highland'. I'll be happy if it grows up to be as good as yours.
It's a great clone!
I had a question do you give a cooldowns at night can it grow an intermediate house
The tent they are growing in only cools down around 5-10 degrees (F) at night
Hiii, i would like to see your K1 x M2, please. I have one and i don´t know what to expect really about this cross
It's still pretty small, but I would like to make an update video when they get a little bigger, stay tuned!
Love the Video, but it sounds a bit scripted ❤😂
It's totally scripted, lol. There are so many fans and other noises in the background so it's hard to do a single take.
Hi, are you selling cuttings of the monstera albo?
Love Nepenthes Veitchii! I’m doing a trade in a few months - my Lowii x Truncata for their Veitchii BE 3734!
That would be a hard trade for me! I had to wait so long to get a lowii x truncata
@@florabundance Hi! This is me on another account. Quick update, the veitchii was WAY too small so I passed on the trade and have found a BE-3734. I ordered it today!
Nice! I don’t think I could ever trade my lowii x truncata, especially for a 3734 that are fairly common these days. Glad you have both in your collection now! I enjoy your channel and love your enthusiasm, keep up the good work 👍
@@florabundance In australia they are EXTREMELY hard to find, especially for me because they sell out really fast and because of strict import laws pretty much noon can get them.
@@florabundance I've been searching for 5 years to get a veitchii and this is the first one that has been in stock when I tried to buy it
What is all in your substrate?
I use sphagnum moss, perlite, and coconut husk chips, roughly in equal parts
Thank you so much for answering😊
I've just recently started to grow nepenthes after failure in past and one of the plants i ordered more than a month ago was a xs car-0001. Hoping to get a plant with stripes on it when its mature but i won't know for a few years. But so far its doing well and is on its way to producing its first juvenile pitcher under my care.
Ok these things grow fast!
Good light, regular fertilizer and consistent growing conditions really help them gain size
Sphagnum moss works good and is anti microbial
Do you have a plant for sale and if so what is its price regards
Be careful getting seed from him he takes wild seed out of nature for his own profits. Jeremiah in Colorado springs is Terrible for nepenthes.
These seeds were produced by crossing two hybrids in his collection. Zero chance of them being poached. Buyers should definitely do their research to make sure when buying any seeds or plants.
Nepenthes veitchii is simply stunning, do you grow yours in highland conditions???
I grow them in intermediate conditions. 82F during the day and low 70's at night
beautiful 😻
Thank you! 😊
So beautiful! Can't wait to see more!
More to come!
You just grow these in Indira in your room?
I grow them in a tent, but many can adjust to lower humidity
These are beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!

GOOD Hope to take more pictures of this type of plants
Thank you!
Borneo Exotics also had a seed grown Veitchii BE-4068.
Interesting! I just looked that one up. It seems to be a very limited batch that was released. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for one to come available
@Florabundance I posted it on youtube shorts if you're curious of what the plant look like. Also, the BE-3734 tend to be more light tolerant than the BE-4033. From personal experience the BE-3734 grows faster and can hold more pitchers than the BE-4033. BE-4033 leaves tend to turn red under the light than BE-3734. Both are growing beside each other with the same type of lights at a very similar distance. As for the BE-4068, the growth speed is in-between BE-3734 and BE-4033, the stripes aren't as bright as the BE-3734 yet.
At 5:44, in the bottom left hand corner of the tray farthest from the camera there’s a hybrid with red tinged leaves and deep red pitchers- what hybrid is it? Thanks in advance
Hello! I think the plant you are referring to is LVBxVMV
Aloha. REALLY enjoyed this video! I am a species aficionado and love to see more. Mahalo!
Thank you!
Any reason you went with orchid transparent pots versus a standard net pot ? Did you want light to get the roots ?
I like the additional air flow to the roots that the orchid pots allow. Once they grow out of the 6inch orchid pots, I plan to bump them to 6 or 8 inch black net bottom pots. I have noticed that algae sometimes grows on the moss that is exposed to light, but haven’t seen any negative effects on the plants.
Great video and beautiful plant! I am thinking of building a similar kind of setup, may I ask what are the rectangular grow lights in this video? Thank in advance :)
Hi! The square panels are Yescom 225 White lights from Amazon
I got a Burkei x Veitchii clone that I'm excited to see develop! Veitchii, Robcantleyi, and Hamata are my favorite. Yours look insane! I'd love a candy dreams hybrid someday, but I want to be more confident before a spend that much on a single plant lol
I have found most hybrids to be pretty easy going. Veitchii isn't really fussy for me either, just slow. Consistency is key with pretty much all Nepenthes Ive grown.
@@florabundance ok cool. I just got a hamata x veitchii for christmas which was another on my dream list so hopefully I'll figure out to get veitchii hybrids looking good. They're so small now that I doubt I'll have an idea of what they look like for a while, but I can lok at yours till then lol
yes more vids plz
Thank you!
😍
😀
Can you do a growth update of the pinguicula?
Hello, are you interested in testing MarsHydro grow light? How can I contact you?
Nice collection! I have a couple BM × PCC's that are very slow growers. Bought as xs and they may be called small, and I've had them over a year! May repot and feed them more as you've written, wish me luck!
If I remember correctly, I originally bought mine as a medium, and they are pretty slow to size up. Once they have enough roots and leaf surface for photosynthesis, the jumps really start.
I got a nepenthes veitchii from carnivero and the one I got is the bottom right one at 5:09 I can’t wait to see mine and yours as it matures
Nice! They should have tall peristomes and pitcher bodies could be a variety of colors
Those are some nice N. veichii specimens, but I personally never get more than one of each species.
That’s fair. With some species, there isn’t a whole lot of diversity, but with veitchii, there’s so much! It would be hard for me to only keep one
I do, there can be huge variability, especially among seed grown specimen.
@@Bobby11083 I may only have one veitchii, but I'm currently playing the phenotype lottery, myself... hehehe.
Im getting one or two Next year for sure
Awesome! They are slow, but steady growers. Not too demanding about conditions either
Nice vid. I like your transition style and descriptions of each plant. Looking forward to your updates on those seedling veitchii
Thank you! The second seedling from RedLeaf opened a new pitcher since filming and it's already got lots of stripes, even at an XS size. I'm hoping to give Candy Dreams a run for its money, lol
Did you buy yours at XS or small sizes (Carnivero size)? Cuz I bought a bunch of XS and smalls from Carnivero and want to know if mine will be around the same sizes as yours given the time you live had them. It’ll give me a timeline ☺️ can’t wait!
Hi! I believe most were small and a few were xs. Good light, occasional fertilizing, and repotting will help them to size up
