    Loved the podcast! More people need to hear this. And I've struggled with self harm for 6 years. It got really bad before it got better unfortunately. 21 now, still have a few issues with it but it's gotten alot better. I hid it from my parents for a long time. My mom reacted the same way, with fear and misunderstanding. Not sure if she understands it, I've tried to educate her about it but oh well. It's most likely because she cares and is just worried. But I'm so happy to have gotten as far as I have, and everyone else who is trying to stop self harming needs to be proud of themselves for every day that they push through the urges. You got this.
