I’ve hiked the AT and ran into a lot of night time hikers. I tried it but could never get used to it. Full moon was the easiest. Even on sections I had hiked earlier I still wasn’t at ease.

Remember the kid we used to hike Appalachian Trail through Pennsylvania we would camp for three or four days. It was a blast.

Camped there many, many years ago with a group of friends, we had a large group, so we didn't see much wildlife, a big porcupine, the hiking was gorgeous ❤

I used to go water sliding in the flumes in Twain Harte. How stupid was that? It never occurred to.me to be scared I wouldn't catch the edge at the other side before they went full barrel.

I grew up in the foothills of the Appalachians. This is a bad, BAD idea. There are monsters in the woods that you don't want to meet alone in the dark.

First thought, hiking in the Appalachian mountains alone at night...you're crazy
