Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is an action role-playing video game developed by A44 Games and published by Kepler Interactive. The game was released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on July 18, 2024. Upon release, it received mixed reviews from critics.
Gameplay
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is an action role-playing video game played from a third-person perspective. In the game, the player assumes control of Nor Vanek, a member of a coalition who must save mankind from extinction by fighting against the old Gods. In Flintlock, the player can use melee weapons and flintlock firearms to attack enemies, though ammunition is scarce in the game. As the player character attacks or parries incoming attacks, they will gradually fill an enemy's armor bar. Once it is completely filled, players can deliver a devastating attack that kills normal enemies instantly, or significantly weakens a boss character. Executing enemies using Nor's axe will refill ammo for her flintlock weapons, while killing enemies with her flintlock firearms will restore armor. The player will be accompanied by Enki, a mysterious fox-like creature. Enki can be commanded to distract or stun enemies, teleport the player, or infuse Nor's attacks with magic.[1] Through Enki's magical abilities, players may acquire the special skills of a boss character after killing them.[2]
The open world of Flintlock is divided into three different regions. Players can partake in different side activities, which may change the state of the game's world and its population. For instance, killing the enemies in a village will prompt its original community to return, thus unlocking new quests and side content.[2] As players complete quests and explore the world, they will meet other non-playable characters. Some of which will join the player's party and show up at the player's caravan. Nor's caravan serves as a hub area in which players can craft or upgrade items.[1] Some weapons are purchased through "reputation", which is gained as players progress in the game and complete quests. Reputation is lost when the player character is killed, though they can be reacquired at the location where the player character previously died.
Development and release
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is currently being developed by A44 Games, the studio behind Ashen. The game was developed by a team of about 60 people.[3] In the game, firearms and magic are equally powerful. The team believed that this concept (flintlock fantasy), while commonly seen in books, was relatively less explored in films or video games. Art director Robert Bruce added that it was an "untapped subgenre of fantasy", and compared Flintlock's setting and tone to Shadow and Bone.[1] The game's 19th century aesthestics were inspired by imagery during Napoleonic era, while the setting was influenced by New Zealand's landscape and wildlife. The Gods featured in the game were inspired by Mesopotamian deities.
The team described Flintlock as "somewhere in the middle" of God of War and Elden Ring. Combat was largely inspired by the Soulslike games, though the storytelling has a more cinematic presentation, similar to typical AAA games.[4] While designing the combat, the team wanted the game to have a sense of rhythm, with game director Derek Bradley describing Flintlock's combat as a "dance".[5] Players are also encouraged to perform tricks and move acrobatically during combat, as they game utilizes a scoring system similar to those found in Tony Hawk's games.[6] The team wanted the game to be accessible.
Flintlock was officially announced on March 14, 2022 with a cinematic trailer.[8] It will be published by Kepler Interactive, a publishing label jointly operated by several independent game developers including A44.[9] After several delays,[10][11] the game was released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S, on July 18, 2024.[12]

I prefer this game to the peppa pig (I 100 percented the peppa pig game) and now want to 100% the bluey game

@@Gregory-pi3oc i think it's broken,not producing properly . I have 2 small generators and 1 big one with lvl 3 pals and barely producing any oil.
@@mraftergames that's what i was thinking something is not right with it. I have 4 orserks and some time I be only having 5 percent on 2 big generators. And have an extra orserks around when they take breaks.
@@mraftergames hey one other quick question how do u get the new xeno pal. Some people say he's only at a meteor drop in the desert. But it seems like the meteor drops are only near you. Will I have to wait there for one because I have no bases over there
yes it drops only with the meteor but not 100%,for me out of 3 or 4 meteor drops,the pal was there 2 times. It doesn't matter if you have a base there or not. For me it dropped both times on the Sakurajima new island.

It's totally random. My advice to try to spawn it. try to fly around the map,if it doesn't restart the game and retry.

For Shroomer Noct there are the combos:Parent 1 Parent 2 Shroomer Noct Shroomer Noct Rushoar Elizabee Eikthyrdeer Elizabee Loupmoon Grintale Mammorest Rooby Vaelet Sweepa Miming can't be Breed sadly.
I kept him alive as like him i despise the Crimson Fleet and know that this character is voiced by Ike Amadi, voice actor of Javik the Prothean from Mass Effect 3.
There used to be a Wingsuit trick where you can project yourself to go faster without bouncing off people but i cant remember how, does anyone else?
You can hunt the Mimics together with Katress to get more Dogoins, if you find some :D

you can try breeding a fast working pal on which task you need ( for me, anubis, lyleen and jormuntide ignis with serious, artisan, lucky and workaholic ), mf anubis hit the sulfur, rock and ore mining site like a champ but it might take a lot of time tho, also lower ur sanity while doing that

Also the grapple way if you have a weapon in your main inventory first slot you cna use the grapple gun, open inventory and swap and swap back and it removes the cool down timer on the gun so you van use it again immediately

For all those using this guide. Make sure it registers that you received the bounty puck, in case you kill the bounty hunter away from where they spawn. The puck will always spawn in the same exact location each bounty hunter spawn. Had to retrace every bounty until I found the 1 I missed
