I just recently picked up a go-kart so this channel is all about go-karts, building the track, running laps and being a kid again!

Yes there is a parking brake
I have had mine for 3 months also. No major issues other then hardware coming lose. I also had the same issue with the fenders. You can peel the massimo stickers off with fingers i took those off right away. I run mine through some stressful trails and through some deep water and it has not had any impact on the motor just yet. I am interested in making upgrades to performance so ill be around to see what you do to yours.

This may sound crazy, but I need something to pull my pull behind 60" grass cutter, the UTV's etc are just too much $$ & I needs something with a little more get up & go than a lawnmower, you think this would pull something like my cutter?
Save your money. Dont buy one....trust me

I just got mine from tractor supply today about 5 pm I got the Massimo 200cc Go-Kart, 4 Stroke Engine, GKA 200 this thing is awesome will post video I was worried I would not fit I’m 6.2 280 and it doesn’t have any problem with my size wish they were videos with people my size to get a comparison that was my only worry about ordering it you help me pull the trigger thanks

How has it held up I’m looking around
its held up pretty good for the most part, im pretty satisfied with it, a few things to keep in mind though is you may need to put some lock tight on some of the bolts if you do alot of rough ridin, and the fenders get knocked off pretty easy but other than that great little kart so far!

Thats awesome!!! Any regrets? You obviously don't regret the purchase as a whole, but is there anything you wish was different about the kart
If you take a chain link fence about 15 to 20 feet with a few cinder blocks on top of it behind a lawnmower it will help to smooth it out
How tall are you? I'm worried I may be too tall for it
im about 5' 6" -5' 7, and the seat pushed all the way back is really comfortable for me, but i also think if i was a few inches taller it would still be fairly comfortable to ride...hope this helps!

i see them on ebay alot, amazon may have them to...id say several online sites sell them you could probably search massimo go kart rims and get a handful of options
What upgrades can I do to make it more powerful thinking about buying one?
i think alot of people put a stage 1 kit on them, thats prolly what im gonna do it gives you a pretty decent boost in speed

You can swap the engine. Swapping the engine on a go kart is really damn easy and you could double your power for less than 1000
Looks like you have possibly upgraded the tires , the tires on ours took a shit after 2 days what tires did you use if so ?
i still have the same tires it came with on it, haven't switched anything out yet, but i will say they are startin to get pretty bald and i had to plug one of the front tires so ill be swapping them for new ones soon
I've been I am the same cart for the last 2 years thank you for the review I am definitely going to be getting this I have ideas to put in a way bigger engine in the back of that thing

Hello Turbo Monkey. I bought the same cart and im having trouble with it steering straight. It won't stay straight. It likes to dart left or right with and change in terrain. From your video I can tell something is wrong with mine. I cant drive it with one hand at all. Plus yours didn't dart side to side at all... whats wrong with mine?? We've unbolted and rebolted the front end twice... no change, please help if able. I was hoping you could take some video of the front end when driving and see if mine is built weird or something. Thanks again
i dont know a ton about it, but im thinkin it could maybe be an alignment problem maybe? i will definately try to put a video up soon for you of my front end and hopefully it will help some! have you looked at any how to videos on other go kart channels?

How does it do in the mud
did pretty good in the mud, i knocked my front fenders off though so i got SOAKED haha but other than that no real problems but i was able to gain speed on dry parts of my track before hitting the mud spots so im sure that helped me out alot!
@@turbomonkey3621 if you have a chance check out my son kart on my channel, I put some interco swamp lites on it and man they grip, atv guys be shocked what that go kart goes through sometimes lol
Mine does 40mph stock from the dealership. I've only had to adjust the parking break and replace throttle cable. The threads are cheap and stripped right off. Rides great though.
How does yours go so fast? Lol. How many teeth on axle sprocket? And how many teeth on drive sprocket
i only get about 29-30 mph out of mine thats wild you get 40 stock musta just got lucky everyone i know had to put a stage 1 kit on to get that much speed...glad it rides great for you, and cool yours goes fast!

No I hace the cheetah 200x not water cooled, it has 24 inch rear tires with 14th drive sprocket and 39th axle sprocket

im about 5' 7" and i had to scoot the seat all the way back but its really comfortable for me, you would maybe be a little scrunched up but i think you would be fine in one
