Immediately within the first fifteen seconds this is WAY better than the Siegfried Paam recording on the Ligeti Project boxset. On that recording there's not only a hum and a short mysterious intruding note around 0:14 but the compression on the master raises the noise floor of the room. Here we have a beautiful entry, super quiet and controlled. Then by two and a half minutes in, we have also have a beautifully rounded, muted blend of the instruments which isn't captured well enough on the recording aforementioned. This is excellent.

Absolutely amazing!!! Though it may seem at first to be astructual, I think this is the foundation for future brilliant tonal inventions. Thanks … give us more.
