Safe Universe
This is an excerpt from a class session held by Jane Roberts in 1975 December 7. She is in trance, and through her speaks the entity who calls himself Seth.
Here Seth speaks about our general beliefs about our world, that it is not safe. To change that, we must change our beliefs about it.
What is inherent in this teaching, is that our world is not one common world, but instead we each have our own, personal reality that is set up according to our beliefs.

Oom-pah-pah!

This song is one from the musical Oliver made in 1968. In this scene Nancy (Shani Wallis) is creating a little commotion by starting this song, so that she can steal and save Oliver from Bill Sikes (Oliver Reed), the fearsome robber.

This is a recording from 1972. One of many sessions in which Jane Roberts is channeling the entity called Seth. Here Seth is expounding upon his most important message: Your beliefs form reality.
First class direction and the excellent Shani Wallis - and Bullseye.
Brilliant ❤flim and musical great memories at 🏡 Christmas ❤❤❤
Awesome Movie! The Beautiful Shani Wallis is Awesome!
Oliver Reed at his darkest, sexiest best
ENOUGH WITH THE DEVIL'S POLKA!
Just think if Oliver didn’t hug Nancy it would of all been avoided he would of ran to the old man he would of heard Nancy screaming and saved her possibly
Christ this is just Only Fans it's hysterical
LOL... if by that, you mean I wax me billy club to Nancy's scenes at least once per day, you are spot on, dear friend! :D
Oom Pah Pah means "intoxication and fornication" hence the verses singing about alcohol and prostitution other than that still a brilliant song
Nat 20 mass suggestion bard
Absolutely love this! I’d pay top dollar to visit a drinking establishment that recreated this as a sing and dance along, especially with the way those blokes are bouncing around at 3:30 😂
Very positive feel good reading I am less scared to face my life .Thank you Jane
Ron moody and olly Reed made a right horrible pair in this film 😢
I love this version x great acting x love the music x I remember my Dad saying that he would have loved to have played Fagin because of the song x You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or 2 x I wanted to play Nancy so I could sing Oom - Pah - Pah ♥️ ♥️
Oliver a top,of the,list Great Nancy…the best..saw some others….nothing like her….
I got to play Bet in our school play of Oliver! and honestly it was probably one of the highlights of school for me. I'm not much into musicals but the songs from this film we're so well done and so fun to learn as a 11-12 year old (even though they're a bit naughty haha)
Brillant Movie! Shani Wallis is Beautiful and Brilliant and the best Nancy Ever!
Hol bujkáltál eddig? Hatalmas tehetség vagy.❤
🙏🙏🙏❤️
❤❤❤ Csodálatos, gyönyörű hangod van.
Nagyon szuper 🥰
You know what is going to happen I was afraid for her the whole time she was singing
When we did this play in middle school, the teachers showed us this movie, but they fast-forwarded through parts of this song. And now I understand why.
poor nancy helped an orphan boy from out of his woe's and pay'ed for it but as the song goes everybody knows who is the murderer beautiful Nancy beautiful Nancy by the Thames❤💔
Oliver is a good guy and he is very very very 😂😂😂I 😂
👍❤️
3:43 The little dog detailed it. 😮
Oom pah pah
I mean if you know you're living in a musical, what better way to cause a distraction than starting a group number? 😂
This is so satisfying to watch Makes me smile and giggle at the same time
"hear"
Nancys first few worlds are Gold
My heart went out to the generation trying to teach us truths
You can't beat a good old Barbara Cartland novel/movie -- when you're tired, peed off and you just want to empty your mind and relax completely -- go onto another planet and just chill out -- THAT is what Barbara Cartland did. Nothing deep -- just pure romance.
Is Nancy in Oliver ! A villain also
My mom would cry to this song
Did it remind her of the good old days?
England before Brexit
And mass immigration
🎉🎉🎉
So, Uh, what's the TWIST? Charles Dickens literature. ('OOM Pah Pah) Its when Nancy whistles...How old were you? Yeesh! ☹️
Such an incredible ending sequence. The way the transition from scene into music, Nancy seeking a distraction, Bill gaining hyper zoom vision. These are very real human things and we never see the likes of it in modern film. Not even mentioning the amazing filmography and musicianship. I love modern technology and film but this something special. Edit - How about Bulls eye barking in time. so classic!!
I hear this song in chrismas song japan 1988
when i was younger thought the musical was of a more comedical one but according to these comments apparently not
Imagine if you’re trying to have a conversation and everyone erupts into spontaneous song and dance
At least you would learn something wise if you had the ears to hear 🤷🏻♀️
This is how the powers crontrol god help them if we worked it out lol
If you have left this comment haven’t you already worked it out…
Nancy is up there with Moses’ and Quasimodo mom.
Co z LEKTOREM PL?
OH i like oliver reed just that 😮❤
Nostalgic asf I was randomly thinking about a waltz and thought of this
The best film musical ever !!!
At last! Somebody agrees with me. To think this great song could arguably be the worst song in the film. I was 19 when is saw the film and, although I was not a musical fan, I bought the soundtrack a week later.
God damn the sequence of shots depicting Sikes realizing he's been duped and quickly getting up on the table to scope the room with suppressed menace, all underlined by the final raucous chorus of oom-pa-pah, is simply magical.
I grew up with Oliver musical. My mum had the sheet music that she played on her piano ❤
