I ended up selling the car with the tune on it. No issues with it the entire time. I feel like the shifts were different but theres no way to prove that.
This is now $339 guess that COVID inflation is hitting everywhere. I tried to do it early last year but the software had a glitch and completed the download more or less instantly with no file that could be sent.
@@monkehbitch the CEM crack I did in 3 separate sessions. It will save the progress if you need to quit part way through. From my understanding it's a brute force type of crack, where it tries all the possible "passwords" when you need to stop pqrt way through it will remember the passwords it already tried, and continue from where you left off the next time you want to try the crack.
I wish you said about additional cost of cracking ECM. Mine comes up as 249€ for ECM unlock and 299€ for map software. Considering this, people are better off getting custom remap, goes for similar price. Note - that price is for eastern europe region.
My ECM decoding was free and I believe it if free for all other individuals out there. You only have to pay for each change you want to make after the ecm decoding.
Within VDASH you can decide the computers. It is a brute force method so you have to leave the car hooked on a battery charger and laptop connected for several hours
I definitely feel a difference. I can feel the extra torque and how it comes on earlier in the rpm. Over all, I'd say if you don't plan to mod your car, this is a great bang for buck. If you plan on going further with the car, then save for one of the aftermarket tunes out there.
He did the TFT retrofit using VDash. I'm looking up all the videos possible on this topic and came across this. Had useful advice such as what the credit screen looks like.
Quick question on vdash did it give you a warning about LPG and if so what does that mean?
Bro, you was using the original Dice or chinese J2534 one?
Hey Got exactly the same car and looking to tune it. 2 years on... Any issues? Got some new tips? OK, read the comments, I see you sold it. To bad
Can you provide an update on the performance over time? How has the transmission shifts felt?

How long was the ECM unlock? You say several hours... 2-3-6 hours?
It's been awhile. I think the cem was about 8. And the ecm was about 4. It will vary for everyone.
@@jimmymccain3155 wow, I can't think of anywhere I could keep the car, key in hooked up to the charger for that long!

Hi, how did you decode the ECM?

@@jimmymccain3155 can you please show me where i can choose the computer in vdash, i have look everywhere.
So you have to pay for cracking the ecm too?
Hello! Did you notice great improvement? Csn you make a vídeo?
I did notice improvement. I will see if I can switch back to the stock tune and make comparison videos.
@@jimmymccain3155 Can you revert to original software tune of the car? If yes,do you have to pay again or you can revert for free? Thsnks
@@endurocrosser8834 I'm pretty sure you can downgrade to the stock tune without having to pay again
Do you think the tune was worth it? Do you feel a difference?

hi, can u make a video how activate ERS pls?
It doesn’t look like a 2012 t6 , the 2012 has a different dash gages ,this looks like a 2014 model. I know cuz I use to own one.
