Love the hi-end they produce only if we can get them to bring quality bass out i think that would be great imaging !

This CD player sounds excellent! I have it hooked to the (single) Optical/Coaxial/RCA output using it’s built in internal battery power, to my Arcam’s analog input as you see on the Arcam’s screen.. I tried my Sennheiser HD 800 headphones both thru the single ended and balanced inputs on the DM13 and WoW! Eargazmic.. The Dual DAC’s inside do their jobs like champs! It didn’t need to be cranked up much with plenty of volume up left! Your personal headphones may differ in the volume needed to get the results you’re looking for..I have the volume all the way up to 99 on the FiiO for this Demo and adjusted the volume on the Arcam accordingly.. If you get this little CD playing gem, you can tinker with the volume adjustment on your gear👍 It’s a keeper for me👍 Please be sure to SHARE this Music Demo video with other music lovers.. I have the same speakers. But i find them muffled. Like too much bass and loosing some midrange. Do you think that amplifier can be the problem? I drive them with low power class a amps. And musical fidelity class ab one.

Next music demo video I’ll be hooking up the small but Mighty Micca RB42 Speakers to the Arcam A25’s DAC👍 They play loud and proud🤗 But they still don’t beat the Eargazmic audio out of my NHT Super Zero’s..

This Cambridge MXN 10 won Stereophile Magazines (December issue page 62) “Product of the Year Awards” for 2024.. It’s ESS SABRE ES9033Q DAC sounds spectacular in my set-up.. Audio Nirvana.. I have a nearly identical setup (at least source and amp😊): Wiim Ultra > SMSL PO100 PRO > RME ADI-2 FS > Arcam A25 > Fyne Audio F 500 SP using Wiim as just a streamer via external DAC. For some time, it was difficult to get the speakers work properly with the amplifier: it seemed like the speakers had screaming midrange frequencies. Proper placement of the speakers solved the issue. Using RME as external DAC and preamp, the Arcam sounds just amazing. The built-in DAC definitely sounds less refined to my ears. But the Arcam as an amplifier really impressed me.

This Arcam A25 Amplifier is at the number 2 position in the October 2024 issue (page 86) of Stereophile Magazine under the (A) Top Tier of Recommended Components of 2024 with 3 $$$ after the $1,499.00 price tag meaning it performs way way above it’s price point in sound quality ..It sure does! It’s DAC is fantastic and will be heard in a future video.. The Bass this machine puts out is astounding.. Pure punch👍 I tried it with 3 different speakers so far.. This reminds me of so much as a kid in the 1960s I had to tap dad’s fisher stereo and run wires into the basement where we spent time with scale racing/trains etc. With little money I visited radio shack and found a pair of very similar to your exiters here speaker support products .. they were more or less the magnet and coil but in place of a cone there was a heavy concrete like counter weight .. you screwed this into your wall effectively turning your wall into a speaker.. problem was parents didn’t appreciate my sending Led Zeppelin up that supporting wall into the dining room…

I connect mine to my receiver with optical cable but optical light is always blinking. That’s normal ?

It sucks but maybe I should have left the Sub out of the “set up”? I’ll try it again without the Sub on.. And now the list of Auto EQ’s are gone? Like Rock, Pop, Voice, Extra Bass, etc. They were there before the last update.. Other than that, DML play great with the Wiim AMP as you hear.. At 0:34, you said you would first play a song using the internal DAC of the AO300 amplifier, then you would play another song using the SU-1 DAC. Can you tell me where in this video you made the switch from AO300 DAC to SU-1 DAC? So that I can compare the quality of the AO300 DAC to a standalone DAC. I've ordered the AO300 but I'm considering whether I need to buy a standalone DAC as well or is the AO300 good enough.
