Iceland: The Realm of Magic | Full Film | Explorer Albert
It’s here! Iceland: The Realm of Magic is now live on UA-cam, and the team couldn't be more excited to share it with you on this winter solstice!
Making this project has been an incredible adventure. From traversing Iceland’s volcanoes and glaciers to hearing ancient sagas come to life, every moment of this journey was made even more special by the amazing friends and collaborators who were there along the way. Thank you for your creativity, passion, and talent. For me, it's because of you that imagination becomes a reality. And a big thank you to everyone for watching and being part of my expedition team. Your curiosity and love of exploration are the fuel that keep me seeking out the stories that connect us all. I am looking forward to bringing this and more content to the Explorer Albert UA-cam Channel.
On a final note, this film is also deeply personal-a tribute to my late friend Jamie Shadowlight, who taught me to see magic and beauty in the coexistence of dark and light, and the in cycles of death and rebirth that define it all. Lessons that echo through the myths and landscapes of Iceland. In celebration of this Winter Solstice, lets tap into the magic in everything.

Lost Cities meets Death Stalker Scorpions - with Albert Lin
I really enjoyed it. Well worth the wait. ❤
Beautiful ❤
Beautiful ❤
Got to be honest I love most of what you do but this one felt a bit odd and a little too much like you were just feeling yourself. I don’t learn anything about Iceland, about the people who lived there or their culture which usually you’re really great at providing insights to. It felt like an essay written for English class with a lot of empty sentences that weren’t actually filled with information. The subject and videography were good but it’s not quite as engaging or informative as your usual stuff. Felt like a teaser for a longer series with more in depth content later on and was definitely high enough quality to leave me wanting more. So I am so excited for the next thing
Thank you for bringing us on this journey. I felt as if I was physically there. Awesome film and amazing information presented! ♥♥♥
Watched your videos. They are a complete and total joke. Try reading a history book
🙏🥰💓🎉
Breathtaking. Sitting here after watching this and in a total trance.
Thank you for taking us places we can’t. Merry Christmas 🎄

Wow, this is beautiful. I've visited Iceland and this brings back so many memories
Fantastic thank you, thank you, thank you, for releasing it on here and not Disney+ where we in the nordic countries have to wait months and months after release.

YES!! Epic trailer.
Can't wait to see this.
As someone who was born on the Winter Solstice; has studied, produced a magazine and podcast about, and utilized mythology and worldbuilding for the better part of a decade; and is a massive fan of all the work you've done on your shows with Nat Geo and your podcast-I couldn't ask for a cooler and more inspiring birthday gift! Keep up the great work, Albert. There are few who have the ability to truly take people to the places (and times!) you travel to and rediscover.
Can't wait for it

I've wanted to celebrate Dia de los Muertos forever - a lot of my mother's ancestors are from Mexico and my sister has been celebrating for the last 2 years. Cool video
Thank you for sharing your story.
Interesting video! Thank you for this unique journey together into the past to discover our common roots through ancient traditions. Humans have always been bound tightly by the thin threads of the past.
Justo estaba viendo un episodio tuyo en el desierto.
