I would make the reload speed if the musket 30 seconds to be realistic and the bullet to be the flintlock bullet because of how weak actual muskets were.

Could you make a video about the battle of Trafalgar, or Borodino?

  • @The_Honourable_Bourgeouis

BTW, ww1 wasn't just troops mindlessly charging though a km of land with barbed wire and craters. They were actual groups or companies which were commanded by officers, and these units would stay close together for communication and support. Actually, many reports said that taking the first enemy trench was extremely easy, but because of the lack of supplies they often had to retreat as enemy troops from supporting trenches would come to take them. It was very similar to Napoleonic tactics, just that you had separate units acting independently like light infantry troops, but still organised in one group When you make ww1 tabs videos, you can show this by just making certain groups with specific troops lead by an officer, then they charge together. It pretty easy to do so Also, cavalry was still effective during the great war, as they could cover 3 times the ground infantry could under a day, and were vital scout troops and artillery carriers. They were also the most heavily armed, as they had 2 machine guns for every 500 troops (meanwhile there was 2 machine guns for every 1000 British troops) I'd like to mention another point, that these close order tactics with independent units was highly effective and cavalry didn't completely die, as even then machine guns weren't always properly manned all the times. They could be used for flanking weak points, or more devastatingly, create havoc upon enemy supply lines These are ultimately the reasons why the German military wasn't the best, as it would have logistical mismanagement at a high rate. This is why Britain actually had the most modernised, proffesional and hardy troops along with her empire, till the very end of the second world war. Britain, was an absolute god when it came to administration and logistics compared to others Also, this myth of officers in the first world war still stuck with the old ways is just complete rubbish, as they were adapting to the changing circumstances Just want to mention it here, the Americans never were in rebellion cus of taxes, but because of the lack of representation they had. In reality, Britain didn't just impose taxes just because of the seven years war debt, but also because of the expense of having an empire, maintaining it, defending it and also building infrastructure. However, the brits also gave superior tea compared to the American pirates who would sell it 3 or 4 times higher than the British tea. Britain also restricted colonial expansion in the Americas, as a way to compensate to the natives. But the traitors couldn't give 2 shits about anything that their own countrymen were doing for them. Also, until 1778, Britain possibly had the worst army at the time, cus of its leniency towards deserters or even outright traitors. The traitors (or patriots ig) hanged hundreds of loyalists by the trees, said that the British imposed cruel taxes on them, and we're underrepresented in parliament. It also has to be said that Americans were concerned about the British anti slavery public back home, and worried that slavery might cease to exist. You can watch Brandon F's video on the topic about the taxes of the American Revolution (or as I like to call it, a traitors rebbelion against the lawful and lenient parliament and King)

As a crazy Waterloo fan, I'd like to make another Waterloo suggestion. Try the struggle for La Haye Sainte, where French forces had to overcome German (and some British) forces stationed in a fortified farmhouse at Waterloo.

Oh. I'm terribly sorry fine sir, there appears to have been a mix-up. I will say this as possibly my fault, and I should've elaborated. Firstly, it was Quatre Bras, a city that had a very important crossroads, not Quatre Pass. Secondly, Anglo-Allied refers to the English, not Austrians, with a couple allies, namely men from the Netherlands and the German states, as well as Belgium. Finally, it was the French attacking. I should've elaborated on these things I'm sorry, but I do believe unfortunately a remake may be in order. It seems neither of us can get anything Waterloo related right. :P And the Prussians (With a P), whilst they were fighting French forces at the same time, were doing it at a seperate battle at Ligny. It wouldn't hurt to make a new video about Ligny and Quatre Bras all at once, as it's impossible to talk about one and not the other.

Try Quatre Bras now! British vs French in the Napoleonic wars, near the crossroads at Quatre Bras. It was indecisive, but due to the fact that Napoleon had at the same time defeated the Prussians at Ligne (an ally of the British) they had to retreat to avoid getting outflanked.
