Man my 14 has done this. I changed the damn water pump and thermostat. I didn’t have time to take the valve covers off. Shop called and told me it’s that. What’s the price for somethin like this?
Oh come on🤣🤣🤣🤣 made in germany what? Talk about ford, where these type of lines used to melt by high temp water coming back from turbo to the reservior 😄
just replace the plastic T with a brass one and the plastic pipes with 7 mm flexible coolant hose and some coolant hose clamps.that will forever solve this kind of problem. I dont own a Panamera, but I had a problem with a T like that on my Touareg V6 Tdi.
Thanks. Great informative video. I also have a Porsche Panamera Turbo model. I haven't had a coolent leak yet but I do know it is a common problem on these cars especially the earlier ones. So this video let's me know what to look for when (or if) it happens. Are you repairing it yourself? I had a coolant sensor go bad. The dealer told me it will cost about $1200 to replace. That was 3 years ago and I'm still driving with that same bad sensor. It seems to work just fine but it still tells the dealer it's bad.
@@mark120371 hey Mark, you hit the nail on the head for me. What is that part called? I to was about to change water pump and thermostat and decided to have a pressure test which revealed a major leak on the first one in the front facing engine, on the right. I need to order the part, do you know the part name? I have 2011 panamera 4. thanks

Just did mine thanks for your help! Everyone should replace this if your car has over 80-100k!
Truly Glad it was helpful!
Man I have a 2011, I had the same leak. Part was $99
I replaced mine with a metal T and some rubber coolant hose and clamps
Great information, thanks. This just happened to my 2013 panamera so now I'm trying to decide if I'ma remove these parts or take it to a shop
What is the part number
