I find the lions behavior fascinating. Almost instinctively going for the throat to silence the Buffalo' s call for help. I always thought, I'd rather be killed by lions then hyenas or wild dogs. Taking you apart, while your still alive. But it's not necessarily that Lions won't do that, it's more strategic, like in this video.

Why these lions never attack the camera man, that's an easier target? 🤔

That lioness got behind the buffalo in order to distract it, and when buffalo turned in her direction, the male lions attacked it from the rear and it was all over after that.

Those big males make all the difference when the pride is after buffalo
