I remember Andrew. I went with a gang of 8 including me to South Baton Rouge and stayed in a motel for 2 months and we put on a new roof every day we traveled as far as Morgan City and back every day for a week 60 miles one way. I was driving a 1971 C 60 Chevrolet with a dump bed. And my best friend was following me in my 1971 Chevy truck. We had some good times back then. The motel we stayed in had a bar in the parking lot. And we played live music too. In the far back motel room. The first week we were down there we'd get up. Walk out the door and on to a ladder. Lol. That's because we roofed the whole motel ohh the good ol days. I had both of my vehicles down there. Work out of one and party in the other one. A 77 Malibu. I still have the 71 pickup parked in my back yard.

May God keep you and your family safe. Living in Mn, i've dreamed of living in Florida and never having to deal with the bitter cold again. But... it seems there is always a price to pay for paradise. How can you really escape a hurricane or tropical storm? That's a huge concern to someone from Mn. We can outrun a tornado without causing a major traffic jam. I'm not sure what you all do when everyone is trying to outrun a hurricane. Yikes!!

Okay.I had evacuation of my road 71 from saint joi'm over here in Scott's ferry.This is my first hurricane.All those lines lead to a big x in my front yard. Let's all be safe.And hope it just goes away

You know that the taillight actually opened on the 56 Chevy and behind it was the gas tank filler cap. Aw man its so humid here that I'm sick of it. No movement of air what so ever.

Those are nice ones. The Postal Jeep though...I remember those. At some point the LLVs will be gone, but our post office still runs them Feel better. Water. or ginger ale maybe...I got a bad fuel system too lol

Nice. I love all of them, but that Taurus is the star of this episode. I love the normal regular traffic models. Trans Ams are awesome too (when their fuel pumps dont die on you LOL). I had a 4th gen but a Camaro, and it was ok, but...third gens are where its at for me, though its a tough call between 3rd gen TAs and 2nd gens. Funny how we fall into a model and stick with them. My brother had a first gen Taurus, then the third gen (not the goofy round one, but the one right after) and an 04 Sable that he still has. I cant help but smell coolant when I see a first gen Taurus lol, though when I was a kid, I really wanted the Sable wagon. Those tail lights did it for me, plus the lights going across the whole nose. Plus...Robocop!

Love them M-bodies! I had an '86 Diplomat cop car, a 318 4-barrel, that I bought to nab the drive train, but it was such a good car, I drove it for months, until I actually had to put my '78 Fury back together. Now I wish I had just got another engine and not parted out the Dipo. I wasn't the first car that I killed and later wished I hadn't. 🙄

Nice trucks. That first one the Dodge seems to be a little bit too long in the bed area. Unless they made extra long bed trucks back then. Yeah Auto World tail gates don't stay closed I have one too and it's the same way. The tailgate doesn't stay closed. Been thinking about J. B. Welding it closed for good. Nice Matchbox El Camino too. 👍🏾😎

I do need to find a 74 Ranchero to break my Rancheros curse lol. If I dont have a model car of the real one...bad things seen to happen. (the bus seems to have that problem too. lol) Oh, wanted to say, that C10 is the base model, which you dont see. Its the single headlight, not the stacked headlight grill. Really rare seeing those, either as a model or the real truck Cute cat. Miss mine. They were good cats.

Yeah. AMC is still a bitter sweet topic. More so now with Stellantis gutting the company is every way. At least, my Jeep XJ is basically an AMC, with the 4.0 in line six. A Javelin would be on my list YES, the forgotten AM Generals. If not for the Humwvees nobdoy would even recall the name I think. I think every govt military contractor company made buses. Boeing, Northrop, Ratheon, Rockwell, and obvious Grumman we all know. They all made buses as test beds. Whats not known is a lot of the chassis and body construction (particularly the Northrop) were tests for manufacturing aircraft fuselage, materials testing. The Northrop bus was I think titanium alloys and carbon fiber, well before that was on every fake spoiler and Honda hood lol. Love the little bus nod at the end!

Cool buses I have that Econoline too. I removed the decals from it. And it's just a pain ol white Econoline pickup now. ✌🏾😎

I just had the chance to sit down now. These are SO cool! The Delta, UA, AA double deckers are a complete mishmash of models, and to this day, I cant say what they are lol. I still have them in their boxes from when I bought them in the Duty Free section at JFK...early 90s I want to say. 2:29 The other AA bus looks like its an American Eagle AE-05? with the hidden tag axle (though Matchbox didnt include it. I didnt know they made it but its not a bad Eagle. Cute little bus! 1:30 The Majorette bus is awesome too. I had one, almost identical to that. Its split down the middle, the lower part is diecast, the top is plastic. Yours is all white. Mine was white on top like yours, but blue at the bottom, but was also an Air France. Mom bought it for me in 93, from Paris. I liked that it was the same scale as the typical cars Majorette made. Love it. 1:57 is VERY VERY interesting. The TWA bus, is a coach works bus based on the Mercedes O303 13R model from the late 80s early 90s. The body with the funky windows, is tough to tell, but I am 100 percent sure its a Swiss coach works model. So, most likely its a Saurer, though it could also be an FBW, Hess or NAW. They did a LOT of collaborative works (Hess NAW and ABB I believe merged, and still exist today making double articulated trolleybuses). FBW is long gone, and Saurer was bought out (I think my FBW?) Im not up to date on Swiss bus manufacturers these days, but that style is very Swiss for the era. I have a bunch of photos of these out in the wild back then. They made many one of a kind models, based on the O 303, usually the shorter variars like 9R up to 10R, 11R, and rarely 13Rs. All were lower deck models, so no high decks. All of them also had dayton wheels, which is odd for Europe, but the Swiss did their own thing (hence how they still operate double articulated buses) Who makes the TWA bus? That this is really special. Very unique and rare. Great video. I love these oddball ones lol. You knew Id have to write a novel too lol

Awesome video 👍Very cool collection of Caprice Police Cars, my best friend in HS parents had a burgundy 305 they bought at auction in Daytona Beach, it was the fire depts car, they got over 300k on it, they also had a Lt-1 from NY that was an ex-police car, but it only made it to 250k before they rebuilt it. Very underappreciated cars, but im a GM guy so i would say that. Lol 😂Thanks for showing these. 👍😎💯
