My first struggle with the object avoidance. The drone didn't want to land on the porch, the only dry spot outside. So I reached out and grabbed it. What a mistake! I think I needed to turn object avoidance off, then land. Instead I grabbed it, and the drone thought my grip was a strong wind, so it fought back. Live and learn.

Range upward is nearly unlimited I think, and the drone has sensors for aircrafts. So it's a relatively safe flight.

The sun went down moments before takeoff, nobody was on the tennis or pickle ball courts but there was a baseball game. Windy night, many messages that the drone was being blown around.
