I see so many drivers either not caring or unaware of the regs. I would love to see driving a flatbed require a CDL endorsement obtained by taking a test at the DMV. I believe this is just as dangerous, if not more so, than hauling HAZMAT or tanker and they require testing and an endorsement.

You hook the chain with the dwang, you dont put the hook through the link.

This is an awesome tool. The video doesn't do it justice. You should have the adjuster all the way IN before snapping it down. Then, you can adjust for MORE TENSION as it loosens going down the road, without having to reset it. Resetting your binder, under a tarp, on the side of the road is a b!tch. I love it.

Great video of this amazing show that has been on in Portland since fall of 2006 and love it even though I am very liberal. Love Gary and Eric and they have a great website and they show both sides of the issues.
