Wyrd Tango: A Story of Love, Tension, and Yearning
“Wyrd Tango” furthers the story in this episodic love story exploring the dynamics of devotion, identity, symbolism, spirit and the subconscious.
This overarching body of work is created by Bianca Sapetto & Morgan Sorne over the course of a few years. The performances interweave dance, live music, animation and film.
The intention is to place these experiences in theaters around the world.
WYRD is what happens, our deeds and actions.
WYRD is fate or destiny.
WYRD is a matrix that interconnects all of existence seen and unseen.
WYRD creates the strings, pulls the strings, cuts the strings, is the strings.
WYRD is woven into past and future, into the lives of our ancestors and our descendants.
WYRD as all of creation as we dance the dance of being and the interbeing of all things.
WYRD TANGO is this story told through a tango.

AU where second sun is blue sister, she killed off her vulnerable and gentle side to survive- especially against the physical and sexual violence of the father, she could not exist in this way. She had the “male” leadership traits like ruthlessness, strategy, but could not ascend to the throne because of her sex, she despised that she was born a girl. She was jealous of the first born not just because of his position but that he was recognized as male and that recognition had privileges she felt she deserved (very much in a Kate Bush Running Up That Hill way). She lived vicariously through the first born, and denied that he was born intersex at all or that he had any feminine traits like vulnerability, much like the father, but because identifying with the first born as he truly was would create cognitive dissonance within her since she despised her own female sex. She and black sister hated each other because she did not want to be grouped in with her older sister, a submissive “woman” existing only to entertain and satisfy the male sex. Black sister hated her because she would not conform to her role and that she caused chaos when black sister wanted peace. Black sister had no choice but to side with the father also due to cognitive dissonance- she could not accept that he has been hurting her all these years because it would be too traumatic to bear. So instead she believed that the blue sister fighting back against him was betrayal and insubordination. In the end she comes to the realization that “this is the road to nowhere”. She integrates her repressed vulnerability and her expressed power, instead she escapes with her life, her raising the girl-child as both something she owes to first born for betraying the duality within him and herself. She realizes that to heal she has to embrace both sides of herself and that her true desire is to protect the vulnerable from harm and injustice. She finally undoes the generational trauma in her lineage through raising the girl and seeing herself in her, the girl is smart, strong, soft, emotional, caring, courageous. Those traits can all exist in her at the same time ok thanks

Read Morgan Sornes books that go along with the House of Stone circuit of albums. The story behind this song is that the second oldest brother of the House of Stone slain his elder brother after the five children had already staged a coup d'etat on their own parents to usurp the kingdom. The blood on his face is that of his Eldest Brother. In the song, the last stanza is reference to his ascent to the Throne.
