Do you have any recommendations for festive things to do in addition to the market. I'll be going there this December, around the 19th thru the 22nd, but I noticed a lot of the events happen earlier in the month.
Hi! There are plenty of holiday themed events in DC around that time - various live musical shows, US Botanical Garden Christmas decors, ZooLights at the Smithsonian National Zoo, holiday markets not only in DC but also in nearby Alexandria VA. Checkout washington.org/things-to-do-this-december-in-washington-dc :)
Beautiful castle, reminds me of the time when I lived here :)
@@yortravels wow that is so cool that you had the opportunity to live in Ghent. it is like a fairytale place

thanks! I am glad you loved the video. I hope you get to visit it someday soon 😍

Great. Your Content is fantastic, But your video optimization section area is not perfectly up to date. Out of 100 that score is 28.That's why your video is not reaching out to people, and you have very few subscribers, views , likes, watch time and comments. I think your UA-cam channel will make your dream come true. Can I talk with you?
They're opening an Erewhan about 4 blocks from my house ... I kind of doubt I'll be a regular, but I think I _will_ go in and try something at least _once,_ just to see. There's a Whole Foods about 3 blocks south of this new location; I wonder how _that's_ going to work out?
I think there may be similarities in the target market of Whole Foods and Erewhon. But the long term customers of Erehwon will certainly be those who are in an even higher income bracket whose looking for more unique items.
Interesting content, but mispronouncing almost every name grates on the nerves. Please just memorize how to say vowels in Japanese. That alone will go a long way toward improving your narration. For starters, letter “e” is never eee but closer to eh or ay-thus Ha-ko-nay not Ha-ko-nee. “0” is never ah but oh, so Oh-n-se-n, not Ahn-sen. Unlike English, each vowel has one pronunciation only so once learned you’ll get new words right each time.😊
Wooooow nice
All the food come from the same place the only thing that is different is the name on the building people forget about the last recession
What do you mean the name on the building? I'm confused
@@ethiopiazoldyk4667he's just saying that people are once again living way beyond their means lol
@@colbyjohnson7571 oh ok 👍
😃 IMPRESSIVE!….. I like how the area’s somewhat laid out like a mall without being one. The retail storefront facades are very sleek. The extra-wide sidewalks and plaza features are very complimentary and tasteful. I’m just stunned at the expansive scale of most of the high end boutiques with department store footage. I’m just surprised that It wasn’t more crowded during this video tour, for whatever reason(s).
me too. I was originally going to film this in 360 camera but a security guard came by. She had issues with me using it. the place doesnt seem too get that busy. Ive been here a few times
Great this video just in time for my trip.. Where can I get the Kimono, Yukata to purchase?
In Japan, there are plenty of places that sell Kimono or yukata in Asakusa near the temple
@@roamwithdory thank you
To whoever may read that comment, apologies for the serious tone of this comment, but if you happened to have plan to come to Paris for those Olympics, please just change it, choose another destination. France is currently ruled by an authentically totalitarian, autocratic regime. Democracy has fallen here. Individual freedoms are increasingly threatened. If you love France and want to help the French people, then just boycott the event so that it can be turned into a major failure in the face of the world for Macron and his minions. Please be also aware that the people who make up this regime are truly incompetent, with the mainstream media constantly covering up their blunders. For several years, this incompetence has been responsible for an increase in violent crime in the country. It's really worrying that these people could be entrusted with the organization of such an event.
I loved this video :D Was that the Hayley Beiber smoothie you bought? It looked as though everyone else in the supermarket was only looking too :D
Yes it was! Truthfully, I think it was not worth the price taste wise, but there's seamoss and other healthy ingredients in it so I guess that is the reason for the $17 price tag.... haha, yeah many were also just browsing, the store is immaculately organized and clean! thanks for watching!
Very informative. Thank you
Thank you! I'm glad you found it helpful!

I stayed at Hotel Indigo (by IHG). I didnt join a tour and only used bus, as it was convenient enough. I have short clips of the Hotel Indigo, I'll find some time to make a youtube stories for it so that you can check it out too. Thanks for your question :)

Thank you! You mentioned some uncommon gifts. Appreciate that .
You are welcome! I'm so glad you found the video helpful!!
Most of these are great souvenirs, but I couldn’t help but notice that two are definitely problematic. The first one is the Bonsai tree. AirPort customs will confiscate and destroy any foreign plant entering the country (for the record, I’m speaking from a United States perspective, so I don’t know the regulations regarding bringing in a foreign plant into another country.) For the katanas, depending on what state or country, they may be illegal to own. For example, New York State identifies katanas as a weapon, hence they’re considered illegal. A possibility third problem (this one is different from the first two) is regarding the kimonos, where, depending on the price, be prepared to pay a customs tax on it. When in doubt, check with customs to see what the regulations regarding if the item is legal to bring into the country and if a customs tax is required. For an alternative list of some souvenirs, here’s a few interesting items: 1. Omamori/amulets - these little charms are sold at temples and shrines. Colorful with beautiful designs, they bring luck, protection, health, prosperity, and so on. A great keepsake that is a huge part of Japanese culture. 2. Emma - these little wooden tablets (usually in the shape of a pentagon) are sold at shrines and temples. They have beautiful illustrations on them. 3. Gashapon - one of the greatest, cheapest, smallest, and most fun souvenirs to buy. These toys (they can also be little coin purses, keychains, and cat hats) are in little coin operated machines found all over Japan. They can be anime figures, tiny animals in funny poses, little trains and cars, monsters, anthropomorphic food, or anything cool, cute, weird, and silly. One type of Gashapon that exists are little toys designed specifically to hold your smartphone charging cables to prevent them from falling down to the floor. Funny story regarding them: I was visiting my parents (they’re snowbirds) and they were gripping on how they step on their iPhone cables so often. I mentioned of the existence of the Gashapon iPhone cable holders to prevent the cables from falling to the floor. They looked at me and asked why I didn’t get any on my last trip to Japan. Turns out that they’re hard to find. They would be easier to find in Ikebukuro (Sunshine City mall has the world’s largest Gashapon store,) Akihabara, Shibuya, Aeon malls, and other locations that would have hundreds of gashapon machines. I’m getting 20 of the iPhone cable holders once I find them (my mother wants 4.) Most Gashapon are between 300-500 yen, with the premium ones costing more. They’re high quality and make for a fun souvenir.
Good point. Thanks for the feedback!

Asakusa and Akihabara can easily be done in one day. Personally Akihabara is a evening/night time area to fully appreciate Electric town. Great video though, well put together
thanks for your feedback! i enjoyed Akihabara. spent 4 hours in anime stores 😂

This was very informative. My first trip into tokyo in a couple of months. Staying for 8 days. 😅
that sounds exciting! which month are you going? I have additional recommendations for your extra days: 1: Ginza - for shopping high end brands 2: Team Lab Planet - this was one of my favorites. It is a very immersive and unique experience. around $32 but worth it 3. Disneyland - only 40 mins from Tokyo by train. 4. Hakone- if you want to venture out and enjoy onsen hot spring in the countryside. this is only 1.5 hours away by train.
This place is named Todgha gorges, not Dades gorges. Dades gorges is in another place, it’s beautiful too.
Thanks! I've updated the label. Thanks for checking out my channel :) I'll be posting a few more videos on Morocco from my trip. Hope you check it out soon.
Hello, did you use a dji pocket 2 to film this?
hi!👋 I used Insta Go camera to film this video. Happy New Year !
@@roamwithdory Oh ok, Thank you! I saw in a comment section that you used to use a dji pocket 2, do you recommend the camera? Happy New Years to you too!
I did like it. it is great for stability and very compact. It records clear too even in some low lighting. i just found that it is not suitable for turning on and off quickly because it takes about 8 seconds for the gimbal to set up. go for it!
Camera dji pocket 2 ?
Yes. That's correct.
dumplings and beyond is one of my favorite spots great food for a great price been eating there since before they expanded back in 2013
