I dont know what this is but i like it. I know absolutely nothing about mechanical work.
Beautiful...this man understood the assignment.
lol best comment I’ve gotten. Thanks
Very nice video
Thanks
What hubs did you put on this?😊
I think they are 400ex. Larger bolt pattern and wider.
Nice job. I use old skateboard wheels for chain tensioners. I like ur idea. Thanks for the great idea. ATC for life motha f$%6ka LOL
lol I love em too! Skateboard wheels work great also.
Very nice work sir.
Thank you.
Very nice work sir.
Thank you.
Neat tool. If you switch out the cutter clamp nut for a wing nut you can tighten it more easily without a wrench ;)
Good idea!
This sort of thing was common on screw machines, as well.
Interesting. Thanks for letting me know. Now to find one on marketplace. 🤠
Nice idea!
Thank you.
Chuckled a bit, I've done something similar for form turning. If you really want to save time use the parting insert as a stock depth stop and get yourself a DRO. Good to see old ideas still kicking around in the home shop.
Great idea. I was going to mount a digital caliper as a depth stop but thought this was cooler.😎Working on the Cnc lathe next. I’ve also ground out shapes in high speed steel in the past. Fun stuff!
If you take the bolt, and put it in the collet backwards (From the INSIDE of the collet) you can then do all the work on reducing the threaded end that you need to actually reduce, without having to turn anything on the upper end, which is already at the proper size.
True. Great tip! Not sure why I didn’t do it that way.
Help me understand what the end goal is ? Are you going to cut the back of the front cab out? I would have hunted down a c30 3+3. But that’s just me 🤷🏻♂️
Yes. I’m cutting the back of the front cab out. Gives me an extra 4” over a regular crew cab. I didn’t do it for that reason. I just couldn’t find a crew cab anywhere near where I live, so I figured I’d make my own.
I have a question about the skid plate and what model of bike u bought foot pegs?
Skid plate is for the xr200r. Very hard to find. The foot pegs are from a crf150. Cheap ones on eBay are $13. They will break immediately if the bike falls. Get the billet ones. It really sucks to ride home with a broken peg.
@@freddyfabricate thanks
@@freddyfabricate can I use 1983 xr200r skid play for a 82 xr200r?
Jean-Marc
Comment alley vous. Believe it or not I took French for 8 years, but unfortunately don’t remember much.
I’ll be making a part 3 video shortly. I have to weld an aluminum row boat. It’s working great. The key is the keep the nozzle About a 1/2” from the work. I use straight argon for aluminum and 75/25 for steel. 75% argon and 25% carbon dioxide.
That bend in rod is on purpose
Camera action Batman music. 🦇
Music sent me away, just not my cup of tea. Disliked for that reason.
Delta Milwaukee became Delta Rockwell and they used the old badges until they ran out. Motor were considered an accessory with Delta and not included. The legs on that stand are original but the top and lower shelf are not. Just FYI :) Nice find.
You are a wealth of valuable information my friend. Thank you for your comment. Probably the best I’ve had so far.
What did you do for drive sprocket on the motor the Chinese ones are a thin 420 chain did you use the OEM Honda one from the 110. Am in the middle of one of these buildings my self and that's where am at is chain and sprockets
I think so. 428 if I remember correctly.
Just pulled this kit off my shelf when I saw that in the instructions says you need a different cam plate for XR200… well guess what, I have an angle grinder too.
I have a 1991 xr200r and the rim is rotid and i was wondering what cind of rim i can put on it cuz i cant find any for my bike
I ended up changing my mind after this video. It was much easier to use a 2000 kx250 rear tire rim and disk brake setup.
been wanting to do this to my 1977 ct125 thanks for the great video
No problem…it’s definitely a huge improvement.
That’s a very unique fix! I never thought about adding a zerk. I would pack grease in when I did a rebuild but adding a zerk never occurred to me. Brilliant! How’s it lasted tho? Still good?
I’ve been happy with it for trail riding. Just grease before every ride. I took it to the track and it started to rattle again before I finished my laps. I might try some sort of collar with a spring next.
That background music takes a lot of enjoyment out of the video.
Maybe you should countersink the hole and try An Allen head.
Excellent idea. That was the only screw I had at the moment. I needed to ride! Lol
Have question,I bought a roller,Honda XR 200 r Honda engine says 98 when I looked it ,no piston ,the bottom end is moving, not locked up so I ordered a piston kit off eBay,but the connecting rod is not pushing the piston up far enough.WHAT TO DO?
I would email the seller and also join the xr200r groups on facebook. They can give you a measurement on the height of the piston you need. I unfortunately only have this engine at the moment.
Hi
Hi sweet potato. ❤️
Awesome build! gas indicator hose - nice touch 👍
What size zerk fitting u use and bit size plz thanks
1/4-20 zerk… use #7 drill bit
They make a plate for the carb to pivot out at a lot of different angles
Thanks. I unfortunately did not know that when I made the video. I bought an intake from an Atv 125m that I’m trying now. I want it to run backwards instead of forwards like I had it.
Angle grinder saves the day again !
Always! Lol
love the content, cool little 4 wheeler!
Thanks. I can’t wait to start on the full custom suspension and hydraulic brakes next.
Did this project ever get finished. Curious to see the outcome.
Thanks man straight to the point 👍🏼
I'm currently refurbish powermatic taiwan copycat scrollsaw. Thank you for showing cutting aluminium part. I've always wonder whether scrollsaw can cut thicker aluminium.
Glad it was helpful!
More videos on this one! I have like 5 of these bikes with non running engines, would be cool to swap some of them !
I’m getting back to this one after my daughters Trx 140 piranah build.
They also make a little round mount that allows you to move the intake in almost any position
Good to know. This one with the 3 mounting holes works for now but I’m going to look for that one… next up are hydraulic brakes, double an arms, round housing swingarm, new shocks and tires… eventually paint the frame. lol
Love it, I just got a trx90 for free! I’m gonna do a video, but I gotta get 2 other projects finished first
Just curious, is tire tube or tubeless type? I had a miserable time after i used slime sealant in a tube for a bicycle tube, thorn resistant, after i attempted using recommended half a bottle, the punctured hole still leaked air , and then i tried using a patch but that wouldn't work because the slime was leaking out hole and prevented glued patch to seal. I eventually got a new tube and threw out old tube.
Tubeless… patches are holding ok.. slime going in next.. I’ve had luck with slime if only slight air leak at bead or valve stem.. and usually multiple applications.
@@freddyfabricate yea. I think the hole or puncture on my tube was too large. So, I just got second replacement one. And actually, I installed some slime in the new one in case I get a small nail or wire puncture, should seal it if needed already in tube. Thanks and great your tire is holding up, 👍😃.
Will we get a part 2 or an update?
Coming up shortly!
That music is very annoying
nice to see someone that has the tools and knows how to do things. great video
Thank you… I hate to see these old tractors get scrapped. Such great history
My Dad had an old Sears tractor ,they had some guts.
Yea not bad for a little tractor.. I’m installing a welded differential next.
get 3100 rpm engagement springs for the driver, 7 inch driven, and a stage 1 kit with a governor bypass. if you gear it right it will do wheelies!
Great info. Thanks. I will as soon as they are ready for it.
I think this is going to cost the little 200cc motor about 4hp, but being quieter is a bigger payoff imo.
I agree. Keeps the neighbors happy. 😂
@@freddyfabricate I haven't ridden my '87 CR250 since fall of 2017 for the very noise disturbance reason, maybe i will sell it to Kaplan..
Nice
Thanks!
It looks interesting but with no link to part 1 I have absolutely no idea what you are building. Also that is an SDS drill, not a hammer drill and uses a different principle which gives much harder blows. Best of luck with it.
I unfortunately do not know how to link it to part one. I’m just upgrading from a Bosch router to a water cooled 2.2kw spindle on my home built Cnc table. I make carbon fiber and aluminum parts with it. Sds stands for the way that the bits attach to this particular drill. I have other hammer drills that use either a plain drill chuck or a different slotted design. All hammer and drill the same in my opinion. Thanks for the well wishes. Any tips on how to link the videos would be appreciated. lol up next is the new masso g3 touch screen I just ordered. Should be a descent upgrade from Mach 3.
@@freddyfabricate I'm afraid you know much more than me as I have never put anything on UA-cam. I watch and record stock cars and Banger racing and have thought about creating a channel but have neither the time or knowledge. Many videos just seem to have a link pasted into the description but as I only had your part two name to go by I found nothing. I will subscribe and hopefully see this project through to a machine that does everything you hope to achieve. I admire it when I see these types of project as I run Weinbrenner metal folding machines and see many other CNC machines and have seen what goes into them. PLC's sensors motors and so much more so to build something yourself is amazing. Best of luck. Regarding the idea of a link I just found a video on UA-cam explaining how SDS hits the bit along its length but also twists it which is why it is more powerful. I just went through chrome and search then copy the the link at the very top of the page m.ua-cam.com/video/4MJXSW9GJso/v-deo.html I think if you can find your first video and add a link it would help people to find part 1.
What size zerk fitting did you use?
1/4-20 thread
Works ok for an hour or so. I had to keep regreasing to keep it from rattling. Not sure if it’s worth the effort.
Pretty nice welds buddy
Thanks 👍
I like it 😊
