Both are rated for 300 lbs. Traxion is on sale on their site right now for $50 with free shipping too. The longer the wipe the better the performance on CB, best CB antenna's are The Tankwipe 1/4wave 2.25meters height - the Sirio - Performer 5000 based on 1/4W 1.96meters height and Sirtel Santiago 1200 based 1/4W 1.96meters height. Then Wilson 1000-5000 whit based 1/4Wave 1.80meters height. Base loaded or top loaded make no huge difference in TX or RX. Same as a base station antenna's, 1/4wave will work but high radiation angel on TX and RX, 1/2wave 20-25degrees take off angel works way better then 1/4wave. best verticals are the 5/8wave and 7/8wave Base antenna whit lower radiation take of angel of 5 - 20degrees and for the best DX Quad,Deltaloop or Beam. Wilson little will (K30) whit only 1.30meters in height good for cars and driving fast but lack of performance because of the short wipe. K40 1.60meters in height works but others do better like the Wilson 1000 and 5000 whit 1.80meters.
