Never though i could actually beat this. My hands were having a seizure. Now that Desert Ruins is out of the way I will be focusing more on Map Making! I have many ideas in store!! (:

uh this is a crazy + map not an infinite map lol. And my play tester said that he thinks the gameplay rn is a 6.8(harder then dr) and the water/pacing is alot lower which i will be tweaking with when i finish the map.

For a Crazy+ kind of gameplay, the difficulty of the gameplay makes sense. Some ideas are fleshed out interestingly, but ultimately fall short with the absolute awkwardness the gameplay just had to have.
can you tell me what parts feel awkward for you? The small cramped part before the room with all the cogs and the velocity inheritance zipline will be modified btw
@@Contamiply 0:02 - Unnecessarily long intro section. Speaking of which, two things. 1. I would prefer if you could *see* the gameplay when it *actually* starts. 2. The trapdoor just opens up quite weirdly, and because you can't see what's below it, you either land safely or just die entirely. 0:08 - This platform after you jump off the walljump is a little specific and jank, maybe lower the platform and change the platform angle a little. 0:13 - I have no problems with the wrapround to walljump, though the position of the walljump could be a bit more lowered, and since there's a truss that wasn't used, the platforms in-between the walljump and the truss could be a bit more wider. 0:16 - For this truss jump, the roof could be moved a bit more higher for room to truss jump, and since the platform is nearby, (avoiding the walljump); could be moved away from the truss a little further, enough for it to feel like a necessary truss jump. 0:29 - This whole section is just tight in general... And because of this choice, some jumps are a little awkward until 0:32 here. And it's quite tight that it's tough to sightread, and that since the gameplay in this section is designed like this, the room could be more open and free. 0:32 - The small triangular platforms has this weird thing where it breaks the flow of the map, for a tight room like that, it could probably be just replaced with walljumps, or a walljump to a platform since it's a tight space. And the second button route feels jank in general, the tight room is a bit hard to sightread, the gameplay is alright, just not the best. ...Although the platform design choices seems odd in the more open section.
@@itsthatgreenlight thanks, i have plans for the awkward long wait at the begining but ill still deciding what it will be, it most likely will be a small squence or i might add a button there or smth. One of my friends who play tested this map would always jump on the box while i get stuck(0:13). Im planning to remove the ladder and make the platform shorter for players to aim for the box. I am not going to change the truss jump bc i like it lol(you also cant jump from the pipe to the platform if thats what you are saying). I changed the tight section at 0:29 before you told me this so after the wrap you will go up a ladder to a wall jump then off of that to a ladder. My play tester friend was able to sight read it pretty easily. Thanks for the advice, there are some parts of the map that are going to look better with detail and ofc its a wip map so i plan to change the gameplay very often. Thanks! FVD++ stands for Force Vector Design. It is a seperate program from NL2 where you create coasters using graphs with 3 lines(vertical g's, lateral g's, and roll). Many people use it to control the amount of g's on certain sections of the ride. IDK if it makes it smoother but it can be hard to use without any nl2 experience like me. The program is free to download and it is used to create the coaster then import it into NL2, no NL2 pro required. It can be hard without the right knowledge and takes plenty trial and error. Since im new to creating NL2 coasters and FVD++ coasters I havent fully mastered this program yet but I hope so eventually.

how did you get it to work? i have the custom block logic mod but all my rides freeze when they get to the first block after the station.
did you edit the block block(cubes you put on blocks)? Is the block before the launch? I might of had the same problem before let me see what I did to fix it
ok I checked it and if the section is before the launch like what I did I set the position to stop the train at the end so it would not stop it there
wow this is actually rlly good the launch and station height are mayb a bit too high but for the rest a rlly cool coaster in my opion

Did you do a daytime POV of this coaster set in the Desert environment yet? It would be nice to see both the day and night POVs of the same coaster. This video shows the coaster placed in the tropical environment at night. Western themed rides would look good in the desert environment, be at daytime or at night time. These are my thoughts for improving your videos of some of your Planet Coaster rides. :)
yeah, this was just a random coaster I made . The ones after this are better but I know I still need improving
overall a decent layout, the coaster meanders a bit and has some pacing issues, but it has potential. However: the pullout on the first drop is too steep, and the airtime hill after that is too brutal. the next element almost stalls the coaster, which isn't really that good for pacing. next drop again has a too strong pullout. the 0 g roll is great, good job. the banked airtime hill generates too many laterals, should adjust banking. 2:10 this is probably where your coaster generates 2.45 lateral forces, which is a bit much when it's this sustained. in summary: far too much airtime and the positive g's are far too strong. lateral g's also very strong, if you could decrease to around 1.8 you'd have a goldmine, and vertical g's on an rmc typically don't reach above 4g's, and airtime on an rmc doesnt usually reach under -1.3

The predrop is way too slow. Some pacing problems but a decent layout still
Alot of the coaster felt like a nothingburger and quite rough. Still decent considering you're fairly new still
Coaster's lateral forces should not exceed 2g's, and not exceed 1.5 on tamer, esp modern rides. Just throwing that info out there
Honest feedback, too many slow sections and the launches take up too much of the ride time. Banking has some issues and ride is quite rough in some spots. Good concept, not that good o of a execution. If you do this again, rely more on momentum and less on launches
I meant for it to have more launches then normal, but I do agree on the banking issues and rough spots. I noticed that but I didnt want to remake the layout after adding the very small details, and I needed to get a video out. Thanks for the feedback!
