I like the idea that you have a freezer that doesn't take much power. If it were me, I would want to keep that and I would find Something Else for refrigerating.

How did you run the fuel lines for the diesel heater? Did you tap into the main fuel tank line. Are the roof rack mounts on the front cab the same as the mounts on the ambulance box?

I prefer the high top van. I dont have a need for 4x4, per se.... so less expense. I also prefer a low tech build... bed platform in the back w room for up to (9) large black/yellow top storage bins. Platform is in 3 sections and everything can be removed easily. I can then haul a motorcyle inside if needed (I have!) / and hitch for travel trailer, boat etc as needed. TJHANKS

That was an awesome video Tom! The floor and ceiling look great in the house, wonderful job on the cab floor as well. Question though. I got Chrome to sell me his square Ambo (woohoo haha) and it is full of the original electrical system. I watched your video where you speak of just ripping most of it out yourself. Thanks to Lole, I found this. This is what I was looking for... I have a 2005 F350 4x4 ambo with similar rain gutters (the ambo was built by Demers) and I do not want to drill into the roof of both the cab or the ambo box.

I don't think this engine is less noisy after this "rebuild". Shame you didn't consider to fill out the engine compartment with some butylene mats..
