    hello sir, I have deore m5100 rd and cogs, deore xt 11 speed shifter, will it work smoothly if i will use deore m6100 chain? btw, my biggest chainring infront is 38 teeth, my chainlength is.18 inches, thanks a lot

      12speed chain is compatible with 11speed. 11 & 12 speed systems need narrower chain. Dunno how long in chainlinks that 18 inches is but that you can check yourself in use and shorten it accordingly if needed.

    I didn't know this was a problem. Timbs have really soft leather compared to most other boots. Are you guys wearing long socks?? I could see this happening if you’re wearing ankle socks. It really should go away after you wear them a few times. I just wouldn't recommend wearing new boots for long hours when they are new. Wear them around the house for a few hours the first day or two. This way if you feel pain you wont wear them long enough to get blisters. All the hot spots should go away after a few wears. At least this is my experience with any new boots.

    Re. straps attachment. The latest V2 version (2023/24) has the straps attached to the bag, not the rear entry hatch. As well as a stronger attachment, it also means the straps don't fall to the ground when opened. Problem (if it ever was one) solved.

    • @Gravelish
      @Gravelish 6 місяців тому

      I've had plenty of Lowepros bags and I really like them. But never had a bag where the shoulder straps are attached back of the bags opening entry like Tenba made it here. Tenba makes nowadays a version 2(V2) of this same backpack and they have changed it so that the back opening opens only and shoulder straps are attached to the rest of the bag. And I also complaint about storage pockets missing in the inner back opening and now in the new version 2 Axis they have added some pockets. I'm still using this backpack and has held very well, but maybe there is something in the complain because they have changed so that all the weight is not on the zipper. Maybe your expertise vision was that this version 1 of this Axis was the pinnacle of this backpacks design but like me, others and the manufacturer Tenba thought otherwise. And they made it even better no thanks to people like you. Edit: kevinsteele edited his message afterwards. Earlier he was talking how lowepro has made bags like these ages and my complaints were unnecessary. After my reply he edited the message like he already knew what i told him.

    Nice review sir! Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're reviewing the Version 1? I have the Tenba Axis 20L (Version 2), and the backpack straps attach directly to the bag frame rather than to the main compartment flap, so there is minimal stress on the main compartment zippers. Hence, when the bag is on the ground and the main compartment flap is opened, the shoulder straps stay "up", since they're not attached diirectly to the flap. Thank you.

    • @Gravelish
      @Gravelish Рік тому

      Yes i have the version 1 of this bag. Nice to see that they have improved the version 2. Any new pockets inside the main compartment flap? I still have this backbag in use, held up nicely and everything is working.

    • @stevetqp9152
      @stevetqp9152 Рік тому

      @@Gravelish Yes, they relocated the laptop compartment to the front exterior, and added a 6" x 10" zippered pocket to the top of the interior main compartment flap. The overall build quality seems quite good, although I'm not sure why they don't have consistent zipper pulls throughout. (Some have short knotted cords, while others have a small circular plastic pull with "T" logo. Both types work fine.)

    Is the short center column aluminum ? Also do you know the weights of the regular carbon fiber center column vs the short center column ? On a different Sirui tripod, I wanted to use a short center column from yet another sirui tripod, but the regular length center column was only 12 grams heavier than the shorter Aluminum one. :) Needless to say, I don't think I'll need a short center column with that tripod.

    • @Gravelish
      @Gravelish Рік тому

      Both short and longer center column are carbon fibre. Longer one weights in 72grams and shorter 46grams. I’ve been using the shorter one just because it makes it easier to strap on a backpack. Also this is very lightweight tripod so using the centercolumn in a higher position makes it a bit top heavy.

    Quick fix: Tie up your shoe using either holes 1,2,3,4 and 7 or 1,2,3 and 7 . The key is you need to use hole 7 (the last one ) so that it tightens the shoe at the top and it leaves the middle loose so that piece doesn't hit the ankle. Also using pliars to soften the leather by pinching that piece will help

      Few things. This is a Norwegian knife not Finnish. Second, real hunter and dead animals don’t give rats ass who is the maker of the knife or it’s origin country. As long as the blade is sharp.

      @@Gravelish Norwegian and Finnish knives are exactly the same knives. They share the same steel, the same sharpening and geometry only the manufacturer differs. The knives are definitely not bought or chosen by the prey but by the hunter. All knives have a sharp blade, but how many of them can complete the skinning of a wild boar dipped in mud and with several centimeters of hard subcutaneous fat? I appreciate 12C27 steels but can in no way complete the skinning of a boar. It loses its edge very quickly and also quickly turns into a saw. Its geometry is the most unsuitable for skinning. To explain and not to misunderstand the knife you presented is a perfect knife in every way but in my personal opinion it would never be my first choice in hunting (skinning).

      You'd be pretty hard pressed to find a serious hunter that doesn't own a scandinavian knife. I'm also sure they aren't processing all their reindeer with some imported rambo knife either.

      @@-o-The-Duke-o- Let me believe that serious hunters can exist all over the earth and not just Scandinavia. About Rambo style hunting knives, these belong to the stupid American culture, the bigger the better. There are hunters on the internet who skin or actually operate on game with an Abalone. I personally use a Fallkniven H1. It is a very sturdy knife but the vg10 steel breaks easily.
