Really great video man. Had a good cry. These boys single handedly made me pickup the Guitar. I have such an emotional connect to their music, I hope I can make music like them some day

The band Guided By Voices just released an album and there's a song on it called "hers purple". It seemed like a very strange song title, so I googled it and found the band! This was yesterday btw. Anyway, so I started digging into their catalog and was liking their songs. Then, today I found your video and was kind of blown away! I wasn't expecting to hear that they were in a fatal car crash! It's probably the weirdest introduction to a band ever! R.I.P. HER'S

Hadn't actually heard of the until this video, but they remind me very much of the good parts of the 80s, bands like The Smiths, and girl bands of the 60s. I can hear a lot of Be My Baby in the song "Some Nights", I guess that would be some of the Beach Boys influence coming through.

The media calling it a "wrong way driver collision" pisses me off. Every headline. Can't find a single article that even mentions that it was a POS drunk driver. Like people just accidentally SPEED going the wrong way on a highway.

I'm going to sound so very late to this but i found Her's in 2021 after Spotify had recommend me "Harvey" on my discover weekly playlist, i instantly fell in love. I've gone through their music and saved many others since then and in all that time i never thought "Wonder why they stopped making music?" til about two days ago. I am gutted to find out about their tragic deaths. Angered and saddened about it all. May they fly high and rest in peace.

I’m so grateful this video found me. I never saw them live and felt a great sadness when I found out they died so suddenly and tragically. Their music came to me in a time when so much significant change was happening in my life and it was a comfort. I can tell you put so much care into this and it feels like a place for everyone to share what their music meant to them. I loved reading through all the comments and sweet stories. Thank you ♥️

i hardly comment, but i come back to this video so many times. not only to remember the group, but because of how wonderful this video was done. everyone I meet, I introduce them to Her's, just because of how much they impacted me. sadly, I wasn't able to know of them while they were alive, but I'm glad I got to eventually find their music. which now has helped me grow in relationships and in my own journey through life. forever thankful for them. <3

Im sick to my stomach.. I have been listening to Her’s casually for about 4 years now. Just yesterday I was curious to know why they hadn’t released any music in the past 6 years. So I searched online if they had parted ways, but this was not what I expected. I am devastated and have been sobbing my eyes out. Can’t believe it took me four years to even hear about this. May all three of their beautiful souls rest in paradise.

i remember when i called my mom when i heard about their death and i was sobbing while explaining to her that band to the point she was later sobbing with me. I cannot believe that people like them, with such nice songs, with what i heard and i've seen such a nice personallity. I cannot feel anything more than bitter that they are gone, i hate this world, taking away everything nice and leaving garbage. i had a little crush on audun back them it's even bitterer. I will never ever forgive the drunk driver.

I found Her's a month before they died. Feels like i listened to only their 2 albums for about a year. Any dude who writes a love song about his cat is rad in my book.

Thanks for making this video. Its 2024, i was listening to low beam and thought this band is great, i need to check them out!! Listened to a bunch of songs, loved them, looked them up, only to see they passed. Really hit me in a way i wasnt expecting. These poor souls 😢

Found them on yt in 2019 after they passed. Listened to their entire discography many times and when it started to get stale I looked up if they had anything in the works only to find out what happened.

such sad end these two had some much hope and promise they worked with other artists and features their songs in movies and TV shows and still be touring I just discovered them and did a quick Google search and found this video.

they hv been my favourite band since 2018 and it is so sad after acknowledge the tragedy. till now, i never found one musician that hv similar music like hers.

Audun is the sole reason I picked up the bass. He made it seem so fun and lively, bringing so much energy to music. Thank you to these guys for creating some of the best music I’ve ever heard in my life.

I remember discovering Her’s music a few years ago and I absolutely loved their songs quickly. I always smiled and danced to them and I still do that till this day. I found out that they were gone a while ago and watched their once was video as they played. I remember crying, I knew if they were still here they would’ve become big and very well known! Their songs still make me smile and bring me so much happiness and comfort. I hope in a different lifetime I can see them play their songs and keep going after their passions like nothing happened. RIP Her’s you mean the world to us 🫂💗🌷🌷
