A quick tip for winterizing Inline RV water filters. Lets save some RV Antifreeze over the years. :)

Not much sense in destroying the inline filter system for future owners who may like this feature. OR? Just an empty bottle per shireguy876 below. :) We have a Rockwood Mini Lite 2017 2109s. This inline filter is pretty common.

Just off I76 in NE Colorado lies a huge reservoir with camping and fishing. Birds galore here, especially water fowl. This is a hot spot for locals. Fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking. Boats are not allowed to create white water however. Sailing and Windsurfing are only allowed during July and August and there is no waterskiing. There are over 350 SWAs in Colorado! Bear in mind, everyone over...

I have this same awning type and it’s down like yours is at the end of the video all the time and now that I’m building a deck this weekend for my permanent spot I’ll be able to raise the deck height and won’t hit my head I’m guessing I just reverse this process to raise it…no one at my campground could figure it out!!!

      Yes, just reverse the process to raise it back up. After loosening the nut, don't keep it too loose to prevent it from rattling off when driving. :)

      When finished, I add a little water to the pot and swirl and dump through a small strainer into a cup a few times until clear. I have a 1996 Casita with a Suburban 120V and propane water heater. There’s a switch inside the trailer to light the water heater using propane. I have no control panel in the trailer for electric water heater so in my case do I just turn the switch to on at the water heater and leave it on all the time making sure to ALWAYS have water in the water heater? It seems like you’d be putting a lot of hours of use on your element and using electricity unnecessarily IF you’re not using hot water much. Does it sound reasonable that Casita would expect you to go outside to turn on the switch and have hot water IF you don’t want to use your propane?

    • @garlandstyle5797
      @garlandstyle5797 2 місяці тому

      Personally, I don't turn on the outside electric switch until a half hour before I need hot water. We only need HOT water if we shower. Warm water works for washing dishes, but again, I can go out and turn the electric switch ON before doing dishes. The tank keeps its temperature very well. Even overnight, we'll find we have warm water in the morning to wash up. As long as you have water in the tank for heating, you can certainly leave the electric switch on at all times. Happy camping. 🙂
